Shrimp Galley, Houston TX

Today I was excited to finally get a chance to taste the fried shrimp from this restaurant! One of my coworkers let me taste a few of his shrimp and it was so good. Well unfortunately my door dash delivery person never delivered our food our job. So of course I made my complaint through the Door Dash Support Service after waiting 3 hours and 30 mintes for the order. So once I got off work, I decided to call in the same order that I never received. Well I was denied service from this restaurant because of Door Dash told them I canceled the order. I tried to explain to the lady I spoke with at Shrimp Galley, that I waited from 12pm to 3pm for my food that was never delivered. So sad to say, Shrimp Galley then banned me from purchasing from their restaurant because of Door Dash! I have never experienced this in my life! I know this review may be deleted. But I wanted to share my story to see if anyone else, have been treated this way because of "Door Dash? " My rate is for customers service "Poor Service. "

Love ordering food here! They give you you much and take care of their customers. I've never had a problem at all and it's worth the trip from Webster. You will have more than enough food for now and later.

Nice and clean interior. You get a lot of food for a great price! I'm not exaggerating when I say the to-go plate wouldn't even close. The food also tastes amazing. And the wait time isn't that long. It's all good experiences here, thumbs up!

My dad had a shop near by & took me as a kid and I continued to go during my teens. So today I went knowing I haven't been in so long and it was disappointing! The stuffed was smaller than the oyster, the fish was like it came from a box already breaded & the fried oysters were mushy. I hate too say it but I'm almost positive I'll never go back!

This gem is the best in Southeast Houston. I've been coming here since the late 90's. I miss this place so much, I now live in Northwest Houston so I try to come once or twice a year. The burgers are to die for. The service is great! I hope this little spot remains open for the next 10+ or 20+ years!

I was looking for an seafood restaurant to eat at that was near my area, I chose to eat here because their store rating was an 4.5 I ordered stuffed shrimp & 4 catfish with fries. They’re food WAS NASTY I highly regret spending that $15‍️I haven’t tried anything else on their menu but after those stuffed shrimp & that trash-fish, I meant catfish I wouldn’t go any farther. If your looking for GOOD LOUISIANA tasting SEAFOOD. I WOULDN'T SUGGEST YOU STOP HERE

Got the 12 shrimp basket and boy were those shrimp fantastic. The breading is light and crispy and sticks to the shrimp really well. The shrimp are enormous and 12 will fill you all the way up. We went at 11: 45 and it wasn't busy. Didn't take long for our food to come up and it was hot fresh and made to order. My friend says that they have really good onion rings. Also, they have the best poboy in the area. Delicious and affordable. Will be returning!

Hole in the wall fried seafood restaurant, food is good and can't beat their prices. Service is on the slow side.
