Sideliners Grill, San Antonio TX

This place is great. Parking is not big so was rough to find a decent spot. We came in Karaoke day. Was fun. Dj was so friendly. We like the sign in foe karaoke, karafun through your cell. The fried pickles are the bomb! Great! The wings are big. Place is big. Plenty of room to enjoy without been crowded. Friendly staff.

The food was great. The service was awesome. Volleyball nets in the back. Decently priced.

Food is pretty bland, dont come here for that. Everything else is great. Service, atmosphere, and bar are all wins.

Don't pay attention to their posted hours they close whenever they want. Even when they say they'll stay open til 12 they kick you out 1145. Even after your group has already paid over fifty bucks to play volleyball, doesnt matter. This used to be a really fun awesome spot until they went under new management last year. The lady "Honey" that works nights is just a total rude and unfriendly manager.

Food is a bit pricey but the atmosphere makes up for that. Always a great time in the sands for volleyball

This is next to my house and my mom's house. I wanted 5 stars but, between the rumor mill and the choice to play music super load for absolutely no one who present inside other associates just makes me feel like my, contribution isn't valued or worth it. The best gift about this place besides some of the epic folks that work here, was there party and volleyball in the back and low volume versatility in the inside. While people focus on work or poker events or whatever but, this insane need to disrespect consistent customers days in a row now just makes me feel like I shouldn't tell people who want to talk and enjoy the good energy of this place to come. They have great vibe. The wings are only worth it if they are on the grill, Dillion (I think it's how to spell his name) abbey, honey, pete, raphael, I don't how to spell her name but the hail with the purple is really great as well.and the owners are pretty cool.) My friends still ref or play with the two biggest volleyball teams here so I'm sure I'll show up, I just won't make this a spot id invite people to anymore. Check it out for yourself and see. To each their own. Respect does matter though. Epic volleyball spot though.

Corine is the exceptional staple of this place. People come, people go, sometimes that's a plus and sometimes, its a tremendous loss. Corine (I think it's how one spells it) is consistent, true and always seems like the place is her own.

During these times, we have choice where to go. Yes, it's few but it makes the choice matter all the more and my first place is to go and invite a friend is because Ed answered the phone with the specials (I'll revise if it changes) and ALWAYS I give it a shot because Corine cares and remembers. Good specials and good customer service with an outdoor breeze.it matters. Jeremy also, I have to say, truly truly, gets customer service and if I didn't support Sideliners as a active and happy patron, I'd recruit him and Corine because.honestly, greatness is hard to find. I've seen this place embrace and squander. I hope whoever the current owners are read this and get what loyalty and excellence is representing them and yes. I do mean loyal. Cheers!

I rented the sand bar and volleyball courts for a 4 hour event on 23rd Sep. During our event another event was going on inside, that I'm guessing was more money for them and I wasn't even welcomed by a manager. The courts were clean and the bar was playing vulger music when i arrived. I guess the bartender has his girlfriend there and a couple of drunk buddies while he was working. 2 hours within our event, people started using the courts that I paid for in advance. The manager could have just asked me, but they didn't and I have called several times for a refund for the couple of hours that other people were using those courts and no one has called or emailed me back. It seems reviews are the only way to get anyone's attention to do the right thing these days.

Amazing food, reasonable prices, great atmosphere. Definitely a come back place for brunch. The fries are out of this world.

First time visitor for their free poker Tourny.
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of courts they have for beach volleyball. Good prices for food and the quantities were fair. Our waitress Maddie or Madison? Did her best with the large group who all would rush it to place big orders during poker breaks. Kudos to her for braving the rushes and getting orders sorted.

I wish Sideliners had a location closer to UTSA or the NW side, as it would do well.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Went to visit San Antonio and stopped at Sideliners Grill. We were greeted by a bartender Luis and he made some amazing drinks. Definitely will stop by again next time I'm in San Antonio.

Sideliners is a great hang to catch a beer and watch beautiful people get serious about beach volleyball 70 miles inland. Always friendly.lots of tan fit folks, so best manners and behaviors.

Food pretty good. Portion size on the brisket is small. There are a lot of tvs showing games, shorts and movies. Our biggest complaint is the reek of air "freshener" that fills the entire restaurant. If you have to go into the bathroom prepare to have that smell stuck in your nose for hours. It was making my party nauseous.

Sat at a table for 10 minutes. Wasn't sure if someone waits on you or you have to order another way. So I went outside, watched some volleyball and left.

Was a ok spot.restrooms were dirty and the food selection is like any other bar food. If you don't like sand I would not recommend this place because it gets every where.

Just came to play volleyball for a friends birthday. The courts were plentiful and clean. The drinks specials were good. The bar failed to update the specials and I ordered off the specials menu and was disappointed to find out the menu wasn’t accurate. The food was delicious. They do have military discounts for those that have served or currently serving. My only knock was that the specials weren’t up to date. But the environment was friendly and patrons are a good bunch.

When I went there wasn't a lot of people in the bar which was good cuz karaoke was fast, other good thing is that it has volleyball courts in the back, that was cool

First time trying this place out and we won’t return. I ordered pick up and got the chicken fried steak but they forgot to put gravy on it…very disappointed.

1st Annual El Gran Brazilian Carnaval Experience.
1st Time experiencing this most beautiful Celebration. The Brazilian Girls were very talented Dancers and Beautiful. This was the Best Festival Experience Ever. I will be back. Thanks Sidelinners Grill you all Rock Also
