SignatureCare Emergency Center - 24 Hour ER Houston

Unprofessional. Will never be using them again. Couldn’t perform their basic duties like drawing blood or administering a shot. IT TOOK SEVERAL TIMES. Took extremely long time to get out on time for next appointment. Hours seem convenient and lobby seemed clean and ready for COVID patients of the MONTROSE area. DISCRIMINATION AT ITS BEST. Asked to search for peeing cup in bathroom instead of placing it in plain site. “Did you look in drawer” HIV test was given and results given in 30’ minutes instead of rapid test of 5 minutes as DR explained. Forced to give urine sample after the visit was almost over and I had used the restroom to relieve myself. Had to stay an extra 30 minutes due to their lack of assertiveness. Service by techs not nurses with the outmost disrespect when explaining their next procedure. Location is extremely convenient right of WESTHEIMER avenue and Montrose a high area for HIV patients due to gay orientation of neighborhood. Better facilities exist around the area with much more convenient services in the immediate area offering and in and out testing of STD and HIV within 30 minutes rather than 1: 15. Almost denied service for STD testing as they continuously questioned whether having unprotected sex the prior evening with perhaps a high risk partner was not considered an emergency It was like pulling teeth in order to get care with Tricare for Life (Medicare and Tricare Prime) insurance. Will definitely not recommend to anybody in the immediate neighborhood. I hope this review is helpful in finding a decent emergency care place in the River Oaks area. Zap zap. I used the time they made me waste agsinst them by writing this NEGATIVE review. They will call me with my results next week or I will have to call them if they don’t. I will keep you posted. DR. So pleasantly surprised. I've had a few urgent care and ER-type of experiences in my lifetime. This was by far the best. When I arrived, as soon as I completed my paperwork I was taken to a room. I wasn't just left to wait in that room. I was seen right away.in 2 minutes! The nurse was awesome. I wish I could remember her name.turned out I needed an IV and she did this nearly pain free. I also needed a CT Scan.the technician was great. The doctor who saw me was great! I highly recommend. They also give you a warm blanket. Turned out I had appendicitis. The doctor brought in an outstanding surgeon to examine me. They don't do surgery, but they transfer you. Everything was topnotch.

Recommended! They are working to really make you feel better.

The whole team is giving the extra mile and it's something you could tell since you walk in.

I felt like it was a real diagnostic from Nurse Teresa and Dr Leavitt they really ask and listen.

I was given this location as a convalescent plasma location.because I did not say the right words they were very numb to my request.they weren’t listening they couldn’t hear what I said and I felt very much offended because I was trying to donate blood for Covid. I previously had Covid and I have antibodies so I wanted to participate and donate my blood so I was really sad that they were very unemotional in receiving my request.

Everything was great, they really cared about my health. All the staff are wonderful and professional. I never felt rushed and they listened to all my concerns. I had to stay overnight and they had netflix and an ipad for my personal use. Thanks to everyone who took care of me. Dr. Faig and Dr. Sylvester, Hamzah, Jacqueline, Denise, Tim, Kelly, Jessica.

I was amazed how different the experience at SignatureCare was from a hospital ER. There was hardly any wait, and the care was exceptional. Dr. Akunyili and Nurse Moore were warm, attentive, and compassionate. The room was as comfortable as you could hope for in a doctor's office, and more private than a hospital ER. Highly recommend.

The best doctors and nurses I’ve ever dealt with. Everyone there is caring and attentive at all times. Seriously guys. This is a gem. I go here for everything. Had Dr. Yusuf (who’s always wonderful), Leslie, Hamzah, John, and Jackie last time and they just solidified how great this place is.

Great staff, excellent location, and wonderful experience overall! Ke'Aire, Churiah, Gina, Dr. Souman, Dion, and Josh all have fantastic bedside manner, are extremely personable, and overall made this entire experience tolerable. I will absolutely be back (hopefully not anytime soon!) and will refer this facility to all my friends and coworkers!

This was, by far, the best urgent care center I have EVER been. Including hospitals. The staff, the nurses, the x-ray tech and the doctor were all kind, patient and I would not only recommended, but I would come back whenever I needed too. Which, unfortunately, but being honest; I’d rather not!:)
