Simply Pho, Houston TX

Moldy onion skins in my chicken, everything was ICE cold…do NOT eat here! I called and tried to ask what happened and the gal tells me that that’s how you get pho. First of all, no it’s not. I order this ALL the time when I don’t feel good (I currently have the flu while suffering through a cheer competition for my older daughter) and I have never in the many times I’ve ordered pho from other restaurants received such cold, nasty food. Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling when visiting Houston. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend.

Just ordered a bowl of Pho and 40 minutes went by without being served. Kinda crazy because any other Pho place has the food out within 10.

Forgot to take a picture of the food, but my meal was delicious! I ordered the Special Combination and also a Pork Bahn MI sandwich and really enjoyed the both of them. Would eat from here again.

They never go back to your table to refill your cub and for some reason if you're the one that orders Bahmi in your party your the last one to get your food. It's Bahmi! It's a sandwich. Why are yall soo slow to bring it out?

We come to Pho Saigon at least 2-3 times a week. Great food, very fresh and tasty! It doesn't matter who serves you.everyone here are so kind! The food taste so fresh and delicious! My favorite is the rice plate with a huge fried porkchop! Definitely my go to each time we eat there! My husband loves the Pho Ga (Chicken Vermicelli Soup)! It definitely a 5 Star Quality of food and service!

The banh canh hue is the beat banh canh period. Banh mi is edible and my bill was reasonably priced. Will be back when I need a quick meal.

I have never had a bad experience eating pho until I went to this location. This pho soup has no flavor. It just tastes like water and oil. When I added the lime my soup just tasted like lime. The same was to be said with the sriracha sauce.

I believe that the issue with this restaurant is that the menu is just too big. I feel like it's better to have a smaller menu with a few really good items they had a larger menu where the food is just lackluster.

And beyond my commentary, the restaurant's name has the word pho in it. I'm just surprised to get the worst pho that I have had in my entire life at a restaurant where their main dish is pho and the dishes name is in the restaurant's name.

Beyond my complaints about the food, the parking at the restaurant was really nice. They had a nice big lot in the back to be able to park and house of people.

It seems like this restaurant stays in business by offering their food on various delivery sites like doordash and Uber eats. Which seems like that's how they stay in business.

But a lot of the people that were sitting around me and ordering food we're not ordering pho but other dishes completely unrelated to pho and soup.

This is definitely not the place to get pho but simply a place that is easily accessible to most where you can get average food. (Even though I can't speak for any of the other dishes on the menu) But just make sure you don't order the pho!

Love their Bun Rieu, crabmeat tomato soup! It’s a must try, it’s not something you get at any Viet restaurant.

This restaurant think that 40 minutos waiting for pick up an order TO DELIVER is normal? Not beneficial for drivers or online order. Although rudeness is a plus.

From out of town. First time eating here. Would never recommend or go there again. Absolutely horrible service. And food was not even good either. Do not go here. Go try other restaurants. I don't even know how they have 4 stars at all. Had to continously go up to ask for our forgotten food dishes we ordered or for napkins or anything because no one seems to give service. Yet they continue to forget our food/drinks and you have to wait and then ask again. They also did not seem to care that they had bad customer service. It's like when you ask for your food they forgot they get upset or something. But when food comes out it was bland and not good.

I usually go to pho Sai Gon across the street but decided to try this place. It was a horrible experience. This was what I was served with. It was brought out just like the picture. A bowl of water, MSG, five spice, some noodle, onion and a few slice of meat. This looks like some leftover from other orders put together!

Singapore noodles were ok. Noodles were light and the veggies and proteins were fresh but it lacked the " Dragon's Breath or Breath of the Wok " and that's what truly makes a stir fry dish, in my opinion

Ordered on DoorDash and got 2 bahn mis and an order of eggrolls. Once arrived I ate some of the beef bahn me and it was incredible. I began to eat the lettuce that comes with the eggrols and as I begin to eat I see what I believe was a baby cockroach on the lettuce leaf. Immediately threw out my entire order and drove down the street for some subpar food. Ruined my night and unfortunately I’ll never eat from here again. Which is a shame considering this place was one of the last with affordable and delicious bahn mi.

Service was slow even though lunch hour was over. Pho broth was good and banh mi was also good. Highly recommend if you’re in downtown.

Simply Pho was the first place I ate the day I moved to Houston, and I haven’t been able to get enough since then. This place feels like home and I know I will always leave with a full belly and be happy. I don’t think I can actually express my love for this place in words. Thank you!

Went here on a Friday night and ordered to-go. The large combination pho was large, delicious, and loaded down with protein, especially tripe. Yummy. It was also pretty cheap, 10 bucks for so much. Would eat again

Overcooked noodles, so crunchy it could have chipped a tooth. The other dish was drowned in curry so heavily it was all I could taste.
Not sure what happened but it's not the same place it was.

I ordered the grilled beef rice plate with a side of chicken…. The chicken was EXTRA dry and season-less and the grilled beef tasted like beef jerky. They barely give you any rice at all as well. Definitely prefer Mia’s Vietnamese restaurant down the street. May cost a couple of dollars more but for the extra dollars you get well seasoned food and a lot of rice! I’m definitely not spending anymore money here on rice plates. Idk about their other items but if you want a good rice plate Go to Mia’s Vietnamese restaurant down the street.trust me.

I always get the Pho and it's the same thing at all these resturants. Beef stock with all the fixins. Here, the price is great and the pho taste good. Very fastrt and professional folk.
