Everything was great until I forgot something in the car after I returned it and I called back after 15min to keep the item aside and was told that there was a separate process for lost and found! Ridiculous, they could have quickly checked if the car is still at the return station, instead just gave standard BS and the item was never found.
I have rented from several companies. This was the best rental experience I have had. Staff were friendly, no pressure sales, and they walked us out to our car.
Absolutely one of the worst experiences booked online when we came to pay they told me we could not use our business credit card because it was my name and not my husbands name despite being married then when we said fine, cancel it and put it in my name, they told us that we would get a $200 cancellation fee even though we were basically switching drivers and switching cars absolutely would recommend not to go with these people. No customer service totally rude and even though they post of luxury cars one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. I travel the world and I’ve never been told that I can’t use a credit card that has my name on it, but not my husbands name on it
SIXT had the best fleet of cars at affordable prices. The staff there are ready to take the extra step to make me feel special and important.
Loved using Sixt for our long weekend at College Station! The car selection and pricing are excellent, and we had a blast driving our gorgeous BMW from Houston to Texas A&M (for a price similar to regular sedan rentals at other rental companies). Check in was easy with an online check in option. There was also a desk with very friendly staff if needed. The cars were a few steps from the desk, and we were in our vehicle quickly. Return was also a breeze, and even though we gave ourselves an hour to return the car, we were at our gate within 30 minutes of handing off our keys. Special shoutout to Jesse, who was super friendly and helpful at both our check in and check out process. We’ll use Sixt again and highly recommend it to others.
Everything was great except for the car porters speeding through the parking garage. If you have little kids with you while you are picking up a rental, don’t let them go. The car porters have no respect for the speed limit and don’t pay attention.
I will not rent a car from this company again because without notifying me they charged me $450 for scratches that were in the car that honestly were not made in a single rental day I do not recommend them
My first time using this rental car company and the experience was "chef kiss" Ms. Issabel was very helpful and nice George Bush International Airport in Houston and I needed to extend my rental on two different occasions both Alex the o Aeryial were super and very attentive with my questions and concerns.
Terrible. I'll never get a rental from SIXT again. Rental car had a maintenance problem. Calls to customer service told me for all practical purposes "too bad, chump. "

This company is a SCAM.we booked a rental through Expedia for a BMW X5 OR comparable vehicle. Once we arrived we were informed that they don’t have that car or anything comparable and they tried to shove us into a economy sedan for the same price
I simply refused to get that car since that’s not what we paid for and tried calling Expedia as well which was no help because turns out when it’s time to get your money Expedia answers and when it’s time to recover your money Expedia has technical difficulties and are not able to answer your phone.
Now Im in the middle of disputing the charge with my credit card and Sixt has provided false information to Expedia regarding us being a NO show even though I have pictures and recordings of our presence their.
I highly advise all customers to make recordings and or take pictures if they are unable to accomdate your purchase because they will blatantly lie and say you were a NO show and drain your hard earned money from your pockets while looking you in the eye and smiling in your face.
But if you can simply AVOID this company they are thieves and liars.
Great cars but could use an upgrade in variety. 5/5 driving experience as well as service, 5/5 for price.
The counter staff was excellent and very polite. They were very helpful with directions and getting me started for this trip.
When getting to the car both Ann, and Aaliyah we’re both extremely helpful and took the time to help me with marking spots on the rental vehicle. Very polite and professional.
I have been using Sixt every month for the past year - collect from IAH. The office is massively understaffed so be prepared to wait. Hardly ever have the car available that I've booked which leads to endless upgrade options at an additional charge. Help support is only done via the website or automated responses, and hard to find a human to speak to. Time for me to try another rental company.
