Skyline Place Apartments, Dallas TX

I have lived in skyline place apartments since april 2017, at first they had 24/7 security and the property was gated. Now, there’s no security and the gate “doesn’t work”. There has been MULTIPLE robberies, sadly they stole my husbands commercial van that same day another residents van was stolen, someone broke in to my brothers apartment (he also lived in this complex) and the owner has no plans on doing anything about it. They just sent out a letter letting the residents know to be aware and be cautious of the robberies going on in the first floor. The surveillance cameras are no help! It’s a very unsafe place to move in to!

I moved here recently I love my apartment I use to stay here as a kid so I live the upgrades I've seen. When I moved in I had a major problem with small roaches they where very noticeable. I told the office and they ordered for a spray to be done. Now idk what is in the spray but it might as well be water. So I took it upon myself to get the job done. Now I can actually enjoy my stay.

I give to that complex 0 I lived for 2 year I have few problem I pay my rent on time for two years went the administration change it get worst. They change the rules if you are not a low income you have to leave. They send me a letter that I have to leave. So I left went my contract expired now Skyline send me to a depth collection company because they say I did not notify went I was leaving and I fail my contract, went they took me out. So bad place to live don’t go there. They don’t have no security the gate is always broken and you can listeners shoots every night so bad place to live.

They are the worst apartments ever. Please do not rent with these people. They do not care for their tenants.

My mom been living here for three years and its been great. Now im looking to move here as well. Its near lots of shopping centers and food places. Its also near freeways so its a great place in my opinion.

I love Skyline a lot. I've lived here for 16 years. And it's easy to walk to my school (Skyline High School.) Whenever there's a problem, the maintenance men come asap.

We have lived here for almost three years. It has good security. Clean environment and reasonable amenities. Great for families that have kids in school (pre-k-12). Nearer to stores, churches, library, restaurants and the like. I will recommend it to families, friends and others.

No it is not safe. I lived in these apartment complex for 1year and 6 months. I own 3 vehicles and they broke my windows and got in my truck and stoled belongings/money. Of course I made a police report and asked for camara footage. They never bothered doing anything for me, it was horrible and frustrating.
Twice there's was 2 Shootings I heard of in the property. Traffic is horrible due to High school across the street.

I was nervous when moving in, but I've lived here almost a year and had little-no problems. Great prices for what you get. All maintenance or bug issues I had were quickly dealt with by management. Management is very friendly and helpful. I pay my rent on time, but there are a lot of fees if you don't. I don't always feel like it's the safest neighborhood, but I've had mostly friendly neighbors and no issues. I'd stay if I didn't need to move closer to work.

The staff is rude. And by staff I mean Chantell the manager. She is rude in person and when you call the office to send maintenance she won't even listen to what you got to say. She just responds, "Ok, bye! " and hangs up. She is not a friendly person and she needs to change her rude attitude at work because she needs to remember her job depends on the rent money we, the residents, are spending and we deserve to get treated better.

I just went the other day to look at this place and I loved it but now that I read all theses reviews, I'm having second thoughts about this place. People that stay at this place if you could let me know if this place is safe?

Hi Mrs. Danielle Upson. I am going through the same problem just like you did. I am a first time renter and I thought that it takes a month or two to get every thing processed. She said she would call me this Monday or Tuesday and still I get no reply.

I stay here now there super nice I love my apartment been here for 2yr in anything that needs fixing there coming the same day.far as the people with something bad to say MAYBE could pay there rent or didn't get approved in I'm not from DALLAS COME HOME TO A NICE GOOD CLEAN apartment with everything they're just moving out all of the ghetto People

I have lived there for two years. I did enjoyed my stay while it last. I would have stayed longer if they hadn't changed companies and make it income restricted. Things started to change when people that had been living there for years were moving out and a new crowd was coming in. There had been an increase of robberies, shootings, and loud, rude people. If you are planning to move in, this is my warning to you. You are at your own risk. If you plan to move in, talk to Stephaine in the main office. She is simply amazing and has my two year stay enjoyable. If she wasn't there, I probably wouldn't have stayed as long as I did.
