I stopped by about 1;30 and was able to get just enough brisket for a sandwich and I also got a side of turkey. Let me say, I've never had their turkey and it was excellent, as was the sandwich. It is BY FAR the best BBQ in Sulphur Springs.

We've been here twice and we really like their fatty brisket! Owner is friendly and polite. Sides are good but not always Mac and cheese (my kids were looking forward to it with their bbq) we definitely will be back!

Coming off the highway we passed 3 BBQ joints in less than a mile but we passed them all by to stop at this gem. Not only is the food incredible but they take it to the next level by surprising you by the combination of flavor. Every single side blow us out of the water. And I will remember the pulled pork jerk and crawfish cornbread for the rest of my life. Ribs were to perfection. John the manager was so kind, hospitable and generous. After a 10 minute conversation, we felt like we'd known him our whole life!

Arrived and the dude was sold out of everything but pulled pork. He offered me a pulled pork sandwich and piled it high. It was phenomenal. Best BBQ I have had in a while. I highly recommend you stop here for lunch.

We had Slaughter's cater our wedding on labor day weekend and they did an absolutely wonderful job. The food was absolutely amazing, we had a combination of turkey and brisket along with their three famous sides of coleslaw, charro beans, and potato salad. The turkey is next level if you haven't had it yet. The brisket was moist, had a good bark, and nice smoke flavor. All three of the sides are something to behold, some of the best I've ever had of each! The service provided by David and crew was phenomenal! They made sure everyone was fed, fed well, and even brought plates to my bride and I as we made our way to our table! If you're looking for bbq that you'll tell your friends about stop by this little oasis! Thanks again guys!

Pulled pork, brisket and sausages are wonderful, but what sets it miles apart from any bbq place is the sides: the best potatoes salad ever, and the beans with cilantro is to die for.

Had to detour to the Ford dealer in Sulphur Springs and happened to be lunch time. I'm SO glad we stumbled on Slaughters BBQ. Wow! Written up in TX Monthly so we checked it out. Ribs are amazing! Tried all 3 sauces- original, sweet & tangy and spicy. Delicious! Crawfish cornbread and beans were a meal in themselves. Finished up with a delicious banana pudding. Friendly staff and great food!

This has to be the best bbq in East Texas. I went there with a large group of out-of-towners and slaughters showed them why texas is known for bbq. Brisket is top notch and those ribs will change you're life

A MUST STOP! Oh my goodness and wow! GREAT TX BBQ and we've been eating that several decades. It is only a mile off the highway. But you have to get here before 2pm because they'll run out or close around this time. Josh, the fellow that took our order was amazing. We couldn't find the place and called, come to find out we were in the parking lot already, in front of Fix & Feed. If you blink you'll miss it. Back to Josh. As first timers, trekking from Dallas to Arkadelphia, he hooked us up. Fantastic customer service Josh. David Slaughter- We can't wait til you open the restaurant with AC. Until our next trip to Arkadelphia, we'll see ya then! Yum!

I happened to find Slaughter's BBQ Oasis today on Google as I was traveling back to DFW.
My father was driving the RV and had a bit of trouble finding the place. (by Fix and feed, and Chaney's tobacco).
My husband and I used to live in Austin and would travel down to Lockhart for the BBQ. Slaughter's is hands down the pick for North Texas. I'll be honest and say I prefer Slaughter's sides.the crawfish cornbread is amazing, I also loved the beans.
Great ribs, pulled pork, sausage.but the moist brisket is where it's at. Slaughter even has his own sauce!
We'll be back.definitely with others.

Some of the best beef ribs in DFW, this nugget swings with some of the elite bbq establishments in the state. Sides are extraordinary and all other proteins are top shelf.

The best BBQ in TEXAS.bar none. Brisket, Turkey, beans, Crawfish Cornbread.all best in class!

Wow, I hardly write a review, but this place is legit. Get there early to get the best stuff!
