Sleep Inn & Suites New Braunfels

I would like to thank Bobby & Jacob for their exceptional customer service! Also, Rose, one of the house cleaners, was amazing. She was always cleaning something. This hotel was absolutely fantastic from the staff to the cleanliness of not only the room but the entire hotel inside & out. I am a Diamond member and have stayed at 100s of the Choice Hotel establishments, this Hotel was by far the best one I have had the pleasure of staying at. The room was clean and the pool was amazing. It even has a hot tub, and it felt so good to slide off into after a long tiring day. I can not thank the hotel staff and management for their hard work and dedication they exemplify towards their guests and work. Keep it up, ladies and Gentlemen. You truly do make a difference to your guests. If your ever in New Braunfels for a vacation or just passing through, I highly recommend this establishment for your stay. I know I'll be back!

We stayed here to visit Gruene, it was very close, convenient and honestly a very nice place to stay.

The outside of the building does need a power wash, but the inside was wonderfully maintained, and the staff was exactly as you'd hope to expect, greeting every time you walked passed in a friendly organic way.

The room itself was a good layout and also maintained very well and looked new, from the carpet, beds, to the bathroom and shower, no stains or blemishes.

Also.

I had forgotten a few shirts and a pair of shorts.

We called that day and they were retreived promptly and held until I sent them a shipping label to send them to my home.

There was a hiccup with getting them back in a timely manner, but I did speak to the manager and not only was he very professional but resolved my issue quickly, along with the help of the staff I was in contact with.

My experience with getting my clothes back along with the over all quality of the hotel is why I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near Gruene or visit the other surrounding areas.

Location was great, staff was friendly and it appears some recent remodeling has taken place. It is nicely tucked behind another hotel so highway notice was minimized. I would definitely stay here again!

It's around a good area! Near White Waters and a lot of food and stores near it including the Tanger Outlets! The hotel is nice and the service was phenomenal! We didn't have anywhere else to stay the night and they made a way for us even though they were pretty booked. 100% recommend

Great place to stay, comparable to like a holiday inn express. Right next to i35, Central to NW SATX and Austin corridor. The staff was helpful and accommodating. I'll be staying here for my future visits to the area.

Expect to find bugs in the rooms. The manager is also a piece of trash with a huge lack of respect to customers. I do not recommend this hotel.

They don't accept ESA's. Canceled premade reservation upon arrival. Not versed in law, pretty sure I just got discriminated against.

Everything is clean, looks nice, and smells nice. The free breakfast is good too. Nothing to complain about.

But I was able to lock my self in my room and write the next big hit script about a man who falls in love with a married woman who’s a writer and is finishing her book in a motel after her husband has passed away. I really believe the service here inspired me to become a better story teller! And they printed my scripts! Thanks Jake!

Great place to hang your hat. I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks and I was comfortable the whole time. The breakfast was perfect especially when you have to grab something and get to work. I had a great night sleep and a hot shower. The staff will bend over backwards for you to have an awesome experience.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Sleep Inn & Suites during our trip to New Braunfels. The cleanliness of our room was impeccable, and it instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Kudos to the housekeeping staff for their attention to detail!

It was a great room! I loved my stay here, I would definitely stay here again, it is all I needed! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were just in town for the weekend but we had such a pleasant stay. The staff was so accommodating and just down right sweet! I will be booking here again!

Check-in staff were friendly. Room was reasonably clean. Bed was comfortable, lots of polyester in the sheets and comforter. Don't think the word suites in the name implies any luxury. Shower water pressure was great. Bathroom counter top was huge!

The management/owner allowed construction to take place feet from where I was checking in. (A worker was grinding out tile grout without proper separation or dust control.) The dust cloud was so bad I ruined a pair of contacts, and my wife had an asthma attack.

Manager said homeless would sometimes come in from the field behind the hotel. Then we noticed the contractor propped doors open, potentially allowing homeless in the building.

Breakfast was better than simple pastries but limited variety of non-pastry items. Construction materials were stacked in dining area.

In summary: Construction will likely be complete in a month or so. In my opinion, and based on how they handled construction, you should know the owner / management dos not value providing a safe and secure environment for you and your family to stay.

It was not great, to be honest. But we booked it on a short-term notice so can't complain.
