Sleepy Hollow RV Park, Vidor TX

I use to live there with my kids and ex ol man Odis and we loved it there we were able to fish whenever we wanted too and watch game warden come get the gators that came with the big flood we had. Clint and his wife are amazing people.

We stopped overnight at Sleepy Hollow and couldn’t of been treated better. Great lake to fish and camp. We’ll stop here every time we come through. Broke down after leaving the next day and Clint the owner went totally out of his way to get us back on the road. Great experience.

Coolest little camp ground the fish were jumping out of the water. Park is super clean, safe & a must!

Called to reserve a spot three days prior to showing up and got pricing and was told it would be 550 a month and no need to make a reservation, they had of plenty spots. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners 4 dogs not on leashes and the first thing one did was jump on my truck, scratching the door trying to get inside to my dogs. A woman came out of the house and informed me on top of the 550 there would be a $150.00 deposit which would be non-refundable. When I asked if her dogs would be friendly, she had the audacity to counter back and ask us if OUR dogs would be friendly to theirs that they let wander around the park. I was also told just to go find a spot, that they didn't know which ones were 50 amp or 30 amp. So I guess I was expected to drive around the park with my RV behind me and just figure out which spots were which. We finally had enough and left to find a different park after driving 4 hours to come to this one. When we got to the next park is when I saw the dog prints on my door and the scratches going down the side of my truck from the dog's nails. When I called the park to confront them about it I was told "dogs will be dogs! ". So if you dont want dogs jumping on your vehicle damaging it, very very bad customer service and hidden fees they don't tell you about until you arrive then I highly recommend not going to this park. I have been traveling for over 20 years for my job and this is by far the worst park I've been to.

Friendly owners. Quick overnight stop, nice lot with open space to walk the dogs, overlooking a beautiful landscape with small lake.

Real good nice place to go camping fishing relax with the kids it's just a clean place friendly just a real nice place I enjoyed every time I go there the owners are great just great all the way around

We love it here. It’s very peaceful and clean. Fishing is great. I have tons of photos of the sunrise and sunset which are stunning. Great landlords, great neighbors.

The owners of the place are caring people. They will go out of the way to make sure you are treated with respect. If your looking for a peaceful spot for your rv, then this is the place to come. You can fish an if you have kids, they have a place for them to run wide open an play ball. Mr. Clint will be glad to help with your rv staying needs.

Live here awesome land lord. And my kids love the pond to fish and swim. Quite neighborhood

Spent five days here. Great people, very friendly and extremely helpful! My GPS took me to the wrong place, and the owner came and led us in. Helped me unhook and set up. Not a lot of frills, but just a great place to go relax and fish. We sat on the peer and just dropped the line in and caught some very nice Bream. Lake is full of beautiful Bass! Will absolutely be returning!

This is a quaint little place, when you can definitely hear that will lonesome whistle blow! That mysterious call, the setting is so close to the city yet, has that country atmosphere. A great place to visit with an awesome night view.

Amazing family place! I would recommend coming here! Great place to fish! The water is so pretty, the place is a 10/10! Me and my boyfriend went yesterday and we caught over 20 fish in 2 hours! It was amazing!

Nice place, owner is nice, and lake full of largemouth bass. Caught this hoss just a few minutes ago.
