Slurpin Ramen reviews
17Great place, spaceous, and immediate service. It still is soft opening, so lots of things i needed for my ramen were not in the store or had finish from a day before, but still good food and customer service
Such a beautiful place, definitely worth its weight in gold I had the peanut Ramen and it was so good and creamy but yet not overpowering. The gyoza was crunchy and flavorful, the service is amazing and so funny! Definitely elevated my experience here. 10/10
We tried the Tonkotsu ramen (both normal and spicy), and the broth was warm and tasteless. This prevented the noodles from cooking properly. The gyoza was good.
Really liked the food & service. My mom felt kind of bad to have to ask our server about everything since it was her first time & the menu doesn't tell you what each bowl contains. Overall a great experience
This is based off my personal experience and reflects only my personal opinion. I encourage others to try for themselves and form their own opinion.
I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu, there was something missing with the broth It almost tasted watered down. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh. I felt like they are maybe a little more concerned with making the dish look aesthetic rather than making it taste good. Right as I walked in I had a bad impression, although the waitress was friendly, the staff seemed unprofessional. They were all gathered in a corner playing loud videos, while the tv was also playing loudly. They also seemed confused as to why I was dining in alone, maybe they found it funny. I really wanted to like this place, but overall the experience was not great. Reasonably priced.
Absolutely delicious chashu and ramen. One bowl was more than enough to fill me up. I’ve been all across the US, and I haven’t found better chashu. I highly recommend visiting!
Great tasting broth, noodles were a bit undercooked. The broth itself was lukewarm at best. The egg was cold. Ramen got cold quick. Sadly there was a hair in my ramen.
The food is good in flavor but this experience was disappointing.friendly servers.
Walking in, I was greeted with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The anime music playing in the background shows they know their customer base, and I loved it.
The gyoza's and the egg rolls were delicious. The tonkatsu was SO GOOD! Good portions. The ramen is a little more expensive than other ramen shops, but it is definitely worth it. They give you a WHOLE egg, not just half an egg. So that's a win in my book.
What won me over was the red chili powder they put at every table. It adds spice to any ramen and is a game changer.
There is only one server right now, but I never waited for any of my food.
Slurpin Ramen has to be the best ramen shop in Laredo so far. Definitely coming back.
I was going to take a picture of my food but it was all gone before I knew it! Calm atmosphere, timely service, amazing chicken ramen. Definitely coming back here again for a cute date night.
WOW! The food taste soooo good. It’s different has exclusive flavors. Good value for the taste. Go! Ur not going to regret it. P.s. The music is off the chain.
Absolutely loved it. The place looks beautiful and the decor is gorgeous. The service was amazing and the gentleman that served us was so friendly and nice. Best ramen place I’ve had in Laredo. Definitely recommend the passion fruit tea it is delicious.
The short rib ramen is absolutely delicious the rib is literally falling of the bone.
The drinks are made fresh and so is the ramen the quality is so worth the price everything we ordered was absolutely amazing.
They are extremely friendly
Great quality of food something different to eat in town I will definitely come back again.
The service is nice the atmosphere is pretty cool too but the ramen that we order tasted bad and tbh it smelled really bad too the chicken was raw and I order a bowl that was flavorless…
The service is really good and the staff were nice and friendly! The food is amazing and I got to try their egg rolls which are delicious! This plate is called black pepper beef Udon!
Best ramen I’ve tried in Laredo! Recommend the spicy tonkotsu ramen, friendly staff, food was very flavorful, the presentation was very appealing.
Enjoyable place to get good ramen. We went during the soft opening but luckily was not so crowded. As appetizer we got the gyozas, which were very good. On the other hand, we got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, which was pretty good, a little spicy but very pleasant and the portion was very decent, the broth flavor was good although not as strong as others I've tried but still very tasty. Moreover we got the Short Rib Ramen which was my favorite, the broth flavor was good, and it included a big rib with tender meat that you can easily remove from the bone, this ramen was not spicy but we ordered Chili Oil on the side which added a very nice twist to the broth, so I highly recommend to do so if you like spicy food. Prices are accessible and the people attending are very nice and welcoming. Since we went during the soft opening, not all of the items were available yet but we were told that they'd add a Curry Ramen and desserts among other items.
