16My experience with Sean Cozart was very enlightening. He helped solve my issues with my account and made me feel like a valuable customer.
By far the worst bank I ever dealt with. From the day I bought a vehicle to the time I went to cash a check. Stay away! They gave their “own policy” which I can’t find it to be legal. DO not bank with them!
Went drive through about 6: 50 pm at the Sugarland location and all the lights were off. Very dark, very scary. I was alone so better safe than sorry. So l left.
In my 17-year banking career, I have never seen a teller be so rude to members/customers. Some older, bald hispanic man at the teller line needs some serious coaching on how to treat his clientele. It was not just me but other members too. Just wow. I closed my checking and withdrew all my money. It was that bad.
Went to my Sugarland branch and I always make sure I go to Guillermo Rivas because his experience and expertise with customer service is evident. I never have a bad experience when Guillermo is at his desk. Please make sure this nice gentle-man is accommodated.

Customer service by Sean Cozart at Smart Financial is 5 star! When I presented my problem to Mr. Cozart, he efficiently researched and problem solved to find a resolution. His professionalism as well as his caring demeanor made for a very pleasurable business interaction.

Mr. Adrian Wright was extremely polite. He welcomed me in the Lobby, explained next steps to me, and very hospitable.
Service was poor. Tellers were rude. Standing over 20 minutes to not be greeted. Everyone seems so busy doing nothing. The outside ATMS weren’t functioning. A 5 minute transaction cost me over 20+ minutes. Nothing family oriented about this location and some of the workers involved.
Opened a new account yesterday at their Sugarland branch. The staff was super nice and professional. I was attended by a staff member right away. New account setup took less than 30 minutes. The only thing lacking was a proper Sign to guide new customers to sign-in computer.
I came in a couple days ago to make a deposit and Beyonce was a great help. She made it quick and easy and she did a great job making sure that I understood the benefits of banking here and I hope to continue my transactions here in the future because of her.

My friend had all her jewelry worth 10s of 1000s stacked away in this bank locker.
The locker next to theirs was jammed and bank had to drill it to recover the contents. But the bank drilled my friends locker. They called 2 days back to pick the new keys of the locker.
My friend was surprised and she and her husband went to check. All her gold jewelry is gone.
Bank is not revealing details as to when the locker was drilled.the manager said the old staff is not there anymore. Looks like They drilled the locker several months ago as the employee left in April 2021. They told us about the broken locked only on September 8 2021.
Remember thieves work here not bankers!
It was super fun today being chewed out by an employee. I guess it's time to take my business elsewhere. 28 years, it was fun while it lasted, bu bye. I used to buy my cars through you, but now it takes 48 hours, the dealer gets it done in 15 minutes.
I'm very unhappy. I waited over thirty minutes just to be turned away. There are not that many locations so I had to go out of my way just to come here. I've been a member over five years. I went through the drive thru just to deal with more nonsense. After verifying who I was the teller gives me a paper to fill out that has nothing to do with type of transaction I was trying to make and on top of that he didn't even provide a pen to write with. Smart Financial isn't saving me any money. I'm taking my money and going to a real bank.
