Smile Big Pediatric Dentistry, Humble TX

It was my sons first time at this dentistry and they did not disappoint. They found a small cavity and filled it right away, and also put sealants on the other teeth as a preventative measure. Quick and painless. Dr. Hu is my sons dentist and he is phenomenal.

It’s the small things that count, being able to finally schedule 8 dentist appointments in one day over the phone for 39 minutes. The receptionist took her time and had patience. She told me to bare with her, that the call would take awhile. I told her, thank you but I’m the one bringing them to her… as I’m the one called with a list of kids. I thanked her so much, some people can be so rude about the amount of kids a person may have… or feeling like their job takes longer from having to input all their information.

We laughed and made small talk. I ensured her, that I’ve already printed and filled out every 14 pages of each child. I had everything lined up and ready for her. She heard me say that I homeschooled them, but she must’ve forgot and asked are they in school? I told her when I’m making important phone calls or we’re out and about.you’re not going to hear them. Rest assured, I probably made her consider having kids one day. Her name was Brittany, and she surely made me feel like I’ve selected the right dentist.

Also, the visit gave me GOOD QUALITY VIBES. Very clean and spacious, cold in the inside with nice decor. I didn’t catch the guy at the front desk name, but he was good too.

Workers in the back and doctor was nice.

We have been going to Smile Big for quite some time. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them for your children!

Great experience for my child’s first dental visit (cleaning). The tech was phenomenal and did a great job easing my daughters anxiety. Doctor was very kind and thorough.

This was my children’s first dental visit in a long time. They were both nervous and had lots of questions. The staff was friendly and showed compassion towards my nervous kids. They went above and beyond to make my kids have a great experience. The doctor explained everything in detail and we can’t wait to return in 6 months. I highly recommend Smile Big for your children’s dental care.

Beware! It has been awhile since I visited this dental practice. After taking X-Rays, they told me and my mom that I had 17+ cavities. My mom was stressing at the time on how she would pay for such an outrageous expense. We went to a different dentist for a second opinion, and they could not find a single cavity.

I love it here! My 2 year old son had trauma to his front teeth and has been to 4 different dentist offices already. All 4 telling me they couldn’t help me. I decided to bring him here and they already came up with a plan to help him on day one. Amazing staff super friendly and clean! I would recommend bringing your kids here!

I love this practice. Everyone is always with good attitude, respectful and professional. I love the way they treat my kids and the Doctor always answers my questions. And of course my kids love going!

Had my sons cleaning and the dental hygienist was so patient with my son, he doesn’t like getting his teeth cleaned and she was reassuring and kind. I look forward to bringing my kids here from now on.

It was our first visit for our 11 month old at Smile Big Pediatric and everyone there was wonderful. From the moment we walked in to when we left. Dr. Lai is super sweet and thorough and explained everything to us. We definitely recommend taking your little one here. Thank you again Dr. Lai!

I love the staff members especially Denzel he was so awesome lovely personality, etc whole staff was professional.

I consider my time very valuable and do not like when it is wasted. The most recent appointment I had for my child, we were waiting 45 minutes after appointment arrival with no communication on when my child's procedure would start. Wasn't until I asked what the delay was, that I was informed the doctor was behind schedule. If that was the case then communicate that with the parent instead of letting them sit around. This wasn't the first time my time was wasted by this office but it was the last time.

Staff was wonderful but I waited in an exam room for over an hour with my 5 year old, 18 month old and 8 week old for the dentist to come in and brush some fluoride on his teeth. Previous appointments at other offices were always in and out and I was baffled the entire appointment took close to 1.5 hours for him to have his teeth brushed and for the dentist to see him for two minutes. As an FYI - Only one child was there for the appointment but I had the whole crew with me because I assumed it would be a quick appointment. This was a routine cleaning and not a last minute emergency. We will try again but if we experience the same wait/delay for future appointments we will have to go elsewhere
