It is a great place to teach someone to kayak. Water is calm and lots of places to beach the yak at. If you do fall off, it’s not far to swim kayak back to shore if you can’t flip it back over in water and hop back on. There are ropes with little buoys to keep swimmers/kayakers separated. Don’t usually go on side with all the people.

Nice quiet, they have spots for travelers and for residents. Laundry mat on site also showers can't swim in the lake but you can fish.

I like it because it’s great family oriented place and don’t allow alcohol or music with swearing
