SMOKE:Texas BBQ & Watering Hole, Harlingen TX

Great meats, decent prices, a pretty great burger too. I've heard good things about their bar and drinks. Restaurant has a great look to it too.

I'm a side note, my friend kept singing "Smoke on the Water" while we were eating there. Got a little annoying cause he did it like 100 times. Now that he knows I'm annoyed, he does it like every day. Looking for a new less annoying friend. Let me know if interested.

BBQ chicken, potato salad, Mac cheese and lemonade. Really nice folks here and a great place to get lunch. There is a bar here also.

When I tell you I've never had charro beans this flavorful.chef's kiss on the pulled pork sandwich too btw. Everything from the sauce to the crispy soft toasted buns was immaculate. Will definitely be bringing my wife here in the future. Very respectful staff too. Nice modern atmosphere too! Come here if you want that BBQ experience you've been waiting for.

We like the food here. Even on Sunday the wait is not too long. The food is awesome. The brisket is consistently smoky and tasty. Great Texas BBQ place.

This BBQ place is probably one of the best in Harlingen. The prices are a bit high but the food quality & amount is worth it. Food is delicious! The environment is nice & they have a cool bar setup.

This barbecue was outstanding. Ordered moist brisket and it practically melted in my mouth. They make their own barbecue sauce and it has some kind of special ingredient that really adds just enough flavor but doesn’t overpower the flavor of the brisket. I found a new place in the valley for great barbecue.

Their food is DELICIOUS Had pork ribs & short ribs. Meat was VERY tender. Great atmosphere. VERY clean. Staff is so nice.

SMOKE is a fantastic BBQ restaurant! No matter what you order, the Brisket, Short Ribs, Sausages or Chicken… everything is delicious! We stopped here three times during our 10days stay in Harlingen for dinner. And next time I’m in town I will come back for sure!

Great food and great service friendly environment for family. Also great to unwind and get some drinks or nice and cold draft beer or bottles

Seriously tasty brisket and solid Mac and cheese. Legitimately the brisket melted like butter. Inside space was very nicely decorated and parking was plentiful in the lot outside. It is a little pricy though, as it was almost $20 for a half pound of brisket with a side and drink.

I love their BBQ & their sauce. My favorite is their sausage & their chopped briket sandwich. Lots of flavor in all of their BBQ items. Their turkey sandwich is also just amazing.

Very disappointed to find out they no longer offer Togo & don't take phone orders. There is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't take phone orders.

Well what can I say.so I took some advice to try the (BRISKET HAMBURGER) it was horrible now idk if it was the cooks fault or what. Because I don't run the kitchen but my hamburger I called it (Morton Salt Burger) so you can just imagine the taste. At 1st I thought maybe my taste buds. Then I asked my husband to try it. I didn't say a word when I took the bite so when I asked him how is it. I said spill it tell me he said super salty. I even stopped the waitress and asked her ma'am are the burgers normally like this Salty she replied Yes very. I was like ok what's the sence of complaining if they was to make me a new one it will be the same thing so I let it go. When it was brought to me it looked delish but once I took a bite out of it. I was like shook and just didn't even finish my burger I left more than half there. And was upset cuz earlier they ran out of brisket. So yea just poltry I'm like no don't want that. So my husband finished his turkey and we left. I still left hungry but like I said what was the use of complaining if it wasn't gonna be resolved. As I was leaving I told the waitress yall should taste before you sell it is awful then she tells me well next time tell them no seasoning. I'm like WHAAT! I had asked the other waitress and said they were already Salty didn't mention seasoning wth? Oh well it was just a disaster don't ask for the Brisket Hamburger! Looks are deceiving plus the sad part it wasn't even 8pm and ran out of Brisket!

Customer service should be something to consider working on. As far as the food goes, it was the best pork ribs and moist brisket I've ever had. Potato salad was bland and so was the mac & cheese. 5 stars for the quality of the meats!

I Traveled from Charleston SC and as a bbq enthusiasts, hands down they have the best brisket I've ever had in my 50 years and comparing some of the best bbq in the USA. I will go back again tonight for the 3rd time.

The chopped brisket sandwich was pretty good! They tosted the bun, and left the sauce on the side. The sauce wasn't even needed. The meat was tasty enough!
