Social Security Administration, El Paso TX

I needed to make an appointment by phone, they kept me on hold for over an hour, they never answered the phone so I had to hang up due to I had to get back to work. Ridiculous, only in El Paso.

Great experience. Came for applying for Social security card. They accept walk-in.
Had to wait a little over an hr to get serviced.
A lady on registration 21 with white hair, light skin and glasses was super nice and kind. Other staffs were nothing different than people in other places. Because of the lady who handled with my case, i really had good impression on this place. Thank you for your service ma’am!

Horrible place there employees are not well trained made mistakes in my case and never sent paper work. Not worth waiting for hours. No communication or phone operation.

Went in to change misspelled name on my card. I was in line at 9: 20 am I did not have a appointment.
I was helped by Mrs. Holloway, she was very pleasant and helpful.

Great experience. Keep in mind it was the week before the new year so it wasn't busy. Got there around 0915 and it took about 30 minutes to finish everything.

Everyone I encounterd was professional and polite.

My request was processed right at the window and they didn't keep any of my original documents.

The gentleman at the window printed out the information he updated before processing so I could verify if name, address, birthday and phone number was all correct. This is a smart step to ensure acurracy.

If you are like me and are trying to get an appointment to change your info to replace your card, this is for you. I, like everyone else, tried calling and calling to get an appointment set up; no answer, or phonecall hangs up after an hour or so, or once you get someone, they insist on getting your social over the phone.

I decided to just walk in. I walked in around 9: 30 with all my forms/IDs and the first thing I did was "check in" on the 3 monitors to the right of the entrance; it had an option that said, "I am here for an appointment" which I pressed (no i didn't have an existing appointment, but i figured, well I am here for one so.). To which I got a ticket with a number to get called at a window. Waited maybe 3 minutes and the overhead speaker called my number to a window where I got "registered" (quick 5 minutes maybe less, on what I was there for), then directed to another line where I got called after waiting a few more minutes and was interviewed for my request. After 10 minutes or less, I was given a receipt stating I came to request a replacement and that my card will arrive to the address listed in 2 weeks.

Everyone was very helpful. I didn't get anyone grumpy or unwilling to help (maybe because it was fresh in the morning). I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Will update when I get my card

***Update*** It's Oct 14.2 weeks later and I have my new card! Thank you so much!

My wife went to the SSA office to request a replacement on her ssc about a month ago, turns out they put the wrong address. They really gotta do their job right or hire better people instead.

I have been calling to make a appointment because there ISNT the option of DOING IT ONLINE and NOBODY ANSWERS MY CALL i have even been disconnected from the line MULTIPLE times the public funds this WE NEED WAY BETTER SERVICE

*don't forget your mask, it is mandatory to wear one* The office opens at 9am and I was there about 8: 20am and there was already a line. There are a few benches on the side, so get there super early to get one. Parking was available and free. **Since I had an appointment, I was able to skip the line in front of those that didn't have an appt. I went up front at 9am when they opened the doors and an employee took the ones that had an appt in right away. If you have an appt, you will receive a text that asks you to check in, don't forget to do that no more than 15 minutes before your appt time. The process was very organized and quick. Facility was clean and so were the restrooms. Ms. L. Navarro was very nice, too. Very pleasant experience.

I handled all my disability process online. When it came time for the local office to get involved my contact Veronica was very helpful, knowledgeable, polite and understanding with me. 5 star experience for me.

Great service! In an out in 35 minutes! I was at the end of the line exactly half hour before they opened, BUT from the time they opened to my leaving was 35 minutes! In my book, THAT is outstanding! Mil Gracias!
