Even if your in an iffy kinda mood, once you enter the SSI office your mood will brighten up. The security when you enter will definitely put a huge smile on your face! The staff is amazing as well. Love this office.

Very disappointed on their disorganized set up it took too long and send us somewhere else.

Did all the required online stuff and set the appointment. Got there early. Did the check in 15 minutes prior as instructed. Sat in the security line for 45 minutes. Thy call my number and name and when i tried to ask the security guard be got very angry and started yelling and made me go the the end of the line.screaming at me the whole time. Needless to say, missed the appointment and have to wait another couple of week for another. Just need a replacement card for my daughter to get into a new school. Some many walk ins with multiple kids were making the single line so long while the 4 guards, 3 of which were just talking to each other. Why not have an appointment line for security or give priority for those of us who did it correctly? What a waste of time. But what can I expect from our government.

I arrived at 2: 33pm and was done with everything at 2: 58pm. Super smooth. I sat down expecting to wait awhile but was picked up almost immediately. No complaints on this visit, a surprising but welcomed rarity.

Terrible service, the windows closed looking at the fact that there are too many people waiting. They need staff.

Made an appointment online at 1: 00PM and left at 3: 45PM. Why did it take so long? Apparently the computer didn’t show our number.

The only way to be seen is us going up to the window and asking about our number. The nice lady did explain that our number wasn’t showing up in their system. I wish I didn’t have to take a 3 hour lunch break from work.

Nice employees, terribly organized.

Also bring a jacket, this place is cold and you will be waiting a while.

This is the worst social security office in the history of US lol I swear it’s funny? But it’s also very true! We been here since 9am and I am still sitting here waiting at 1: 35pm … still waiting to see someone!

The officers that work here are very attentive and they are actually very helpful than the staff itself. They are more helpful than their staff! To be honest! 2 ️ for just them! As for the office staff? Or the system? Throw it away! So horrible! Y’all gotta do better! The wait time for us? Is going on 5 hours now. & they close at 4pm

This office is very helpful. However, you may have to wait for a couple of hours, because it’s very busy and they are doing their job.

It definitely makes a huge difference in waiting when you make an appointment. Every time I’ve been here the security and staff have been nice.

Surprisingly pleasant experience here. I made an appointment online for a name change and was in and out in precisely 8 minutes. The security guards and my attendant were all very friendly and nice to talk to.

Omgosh the wait was 3 hours long: there has got to be a different way of getting people in and out quickly! They we’re at lunch at 12: 00 noon so we had to still wait 3-4 hours: we arrived at 9: 38am - and still waiting

Very good place to check your disability before you drop your retirement papers. Have all the questions and planning once you drop the papers you're done. Have a blessed and beautiful day, stay safe, peace

The security guards are actually very knowledgeable and helpful regarding wait times for your reason for being there, etc. They treat everyone the same so if you're in a wheelchair don't expect to skip the line or search for weapons (yes, I heard 2 women angry about this). If all you need is a replacement SS card or name change and you don't have an appointment, don't go to the Isom Rd.office, go downtown. Tell the security guard what you're there for so he'll direct you to the much shorter line. You can, technically, get a replacement SS card at the Isom Rd.location as a walk-in, but you'll be there all day waiting. I gave up and went downtown the next morning and was seen after a 20 min wait. I'm giving this office 4 stars anyway because the security guards they have there are helpful and nice.

Got there an hour before they opened and still ended up waiting 3 hours inside just to make an appointment. When we got there the lady recommended we stay and make our appointment in person instead of online. Once we got to someone they only sat with us for less than 5 min and booked our appointment. I would’ve made the appointment online had I known it was a 3 hour wait for a 5 min service. If I could I’d give 0 stars.

I was In and out in 17 minutes at this location 08/24/2023 on a Thursday. Appointment was at 11 am and I got there late at 11: 02. In my seat waiting by 11: 07 & I was back in my car and pulling off at 11: 19. Best experience EVER! ️️️️️
