Sol De Jalisco-Gen Bruce, Temple TX

Threw a party here for my husband today. This is the best sol de Jalisco out of all of the ones. Best service, nice atmosphere with their lounge and patio as well at their nice private party room. Israel was our waiter. He was very attentive with our big group, very polite, our party crew was very impressed! Thank y’all so much and to Jeremy the GM. He has been very communicative and accommodating with my party plans!

Definitely my go to place for Mexican food. I really enjoy the Carne Asada. The beef is always cooked just right and it is well flavored. Love the beans - these are not the standard refried beans - and they are well flavored. The service is always friendly and attentive to us as customers. Also love the pickled cactus on the Carne Asada.

Service was excellent. Both interactions with 2 different waiters, prpfessional, smiling, listened and followed instructions. Food was tasteful and prepared quickly. They do have a fee for using card rather than cash, but service was so good thqt it does not takr away from the 5 stars, just something to be aware of.

Had a great dinner experience here thanks to Israel and the wonderful staff here. Attentive and timely service combined with a wide variety of menu options. Would recommend for anyone coming through the area.

I love all. There is good service, the food is delicious, served at a good time and a pleasant atmosphere. I left in love with the bar area and the music. I recommend it!

I told the bartender, Trisha, to surprise me with a margarita. I wanted a large strawberry initially, but couldn’t make up my mind. SHE KILLED IT AND IT TASTES AMAZING! Super, super kind and very professional personality. No wonder she is the bartender at the best Mexican food place in Temple!

The GM, Jeremy, walked up to us shortly after we sat down and made sure our drink order was put in and on the way. He was very caring and concerned about us having great service. His personality was super fun and happy. An all around awesome employee of this restaurant. Hands down, I’d come back just for those two employees even if this place didn’t serve food

The food and service have definitely improved! The general manager was an amazing help and I was very happy to see that he was trying to teach the younger generation to have manners and open doors for guests and not just standing there conversating and stare at people as they walk out.

When I went through the drive-thru they gave me the wrong order. When I got home to check the order I called them and told them that they gave me the wrong order when I got there they refused to give me my money back or return the order I do not recommend doing business with these people they tend to give you whatever they want to and not give you any kind of business or service if your order is wrong.

It took forever in the drive through when I went through the drive through. They gave me the wrong order when I came back to give them the order back. They would not return my order or refund me any money.

The food was great the service was awesome, it was late so atmosphere was quiet. In town visiting so great selection! Also $2.99 margaritas!

Jesus the server is Great! He is on top of everything. One of the women couldn’t quite understand our order and he came straight to us and it was exactly right. He made sure multiple times that we had everything we needed. While we were eating we could see Jesus running around doing so much. Working as a host, server, and was helping out in the bar as well. Every time we come we get Jesus and I just want everyone to know he was such a good worker. The food is excellent. And is very affordable! Will recommend this establishment to family & Friends.

Try there new menu item pork dish is very good. There Salsa is really good. The food is very good.

This was our first time here. This place has some delicious Mexican food, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere is great. Even the lemonade, horchata.and agua de Jamaica was delicious. Definitely going to be one of our go-to places.

We came in to see the game and have a few drinks. It's was wonderful I wanted to side outside but they were having a them every one of the days I went but I sat inside the TV was on the game was on we ordered some food which was good n we had a few shots n 1 drink bartender a women really listened to me what I wanted in a drink thank u

I attended a birthday celebration here last night and it was going well. The patio ambience is nice and I believe the friends and family who showed up had a good time as far as I can tell. Our waitress was prompt, as each person showed up she was there to take your drink order so, eventually we began to place food orders. At my table I actually ordered first nothing over the top just a half order of Mega Nachos, the other two ladies at the table followed. As we wait for our food your establishment began to play Hispanic music, which is normal, yet loudly. So loud that we noticed we were actually yelling to hear each other. So when the waitress comes out with plates, she starts handing them out. She gives my friend nachos, it takes time to prepare food so I don’t remember what she ordered until she brings me the wrong plate after returning the kitchen to retrieve it. I state “this isn’t what I ordered” she looks at me. I said I had nachos, by now my friend has added sour cream and guacamole on a nacho and is about to place one in her mouth. I requested she bring me a fresh order of nachos and she states she would have to charge me for two! By now my friend was like I didn’t touch it, so in order to not make a seen I took the plate. IF you gonna have one server @ a group party she needs to write the orders down so she can remember who ordered what. It’s not like she took the orders and someone else handed them out. Also, her telling me she shouted the order out doesn’t negate her inability to remember if I can’t hear her announcement due too the loud music. I prefer NOT to have anyone breathing and talking over my food before I consume it. Very disappointed, 7.99 plus tax wouldn’t bankrupted your establishment.
