My property tax loan was sold to this company this year. They are very very slow in responding to any email sent to them. In addition they add in additional charges for not providing home owners insurance for the 10k they have invested. They billed me for an annual insurance to cover what they have invested which is fine and I paid the one time charge. Now they have raised my interest rate from 10.9% to 17% saying they can cause it’s default without providing the insurance however they provided it and I paid for it. From my last statement to my new statement $140 of charges listed under “other charges” showed up. I sent an email inquiring and got no answer other than just because they provided insurance doesn’t mean it isn’t default. Again terrible communication from this company, they should be able to tell me what this is. I would recommend staying far away from this company, I didn’t seek them out for service but unfortunately I have to deal with this company.

I want to let you know how much I appreciate Ishanis' help. She was very polite, understanding, and efficient. She got my problem corrected quickly. She is a real asset to have on board. If I need to call Sombrero again, I will certainly ask for Ishani!

This crooked people bought off my loan from another lender and went on without contacting me for 4 months just to charge fees and raise my interest rate. Beware of them. A complaint with the BBB has being filed and proved them I was right.

Thank Alot for taking advantage of the senior and elderly my best friend Mr. Limon tried to make an amicable deal with you all and they were abusive with him and and never even tried to help him after he asked for a receipt and you denied him a receipt and he is so upset now

Already paid my account off and now I didn’t follow a process so charges have accumulated! Ridiculous!

I’m am only editing to respond to yours. The issue was I was made clear by your staff about the payoff process. I did mention I did want to pay off my account and was never instructed about the procedure. Unfortunately I do not remember the staff member’s name. Still, glad we came to an understanding but as for my review stands. Thanks.
