Sonic Drive-In, San Antonio TX

I was soooo Amazed yesterday!
They were short handed and still had a smile on their face (in person and could hear it in their voice while taking order), apologized 2 or 3 times AND STILL SERVED HOT FOOD! When short handed you can still almost always count on HOT burgers, but HOT FRIES, TOTS AND CHEESE STICKS. NEVER AND YET. THATS EXACTLY WHAT WE GOT!

Wow ok I ordered at 7: 20.it's 8: 20 and I still dont have my food. If I hadnt already paid for it on the app I'd have driven off by now. Still might.

Took over took over 45 minutes to get food first I went to one of their little kiosk's number 16 they never answered so I went to the drive-thru and that took another 25 minutes bad service

Just went to Sonic on Ih 35 South bought a Route 44 Sweet Tea and the tea taste like its been sitting in there container for days the taste is old.

Went to sonic with my lady and got a number four and it was supposed to be a double cheeseburger and they only gave me a single patty this is ridiculous And then I called her and her phone is disconnected never will go back to the Sonic again

Worst Sonic ever.last attempt to give this Sonic the benefit of the doubt. Sat there for 20 min never acknowledged by anyone, employees and manager could be seen inside talking even looking out but never acknowledging customers. Previous visits long waits and wrong orders. Really disappointed this Sonic can't get it together.

This Sonic is terrible. Don't let the commercials fool you. There is no team communication here. Your order will always be messed up even if it's a simple non customized burger. 30 minute orders. No napkins or condiments in bag. Tator Tots looked like they were cooked in old oil. The lights are ALWAYS off at night because they can't afford to pay the electric bill. Save your time and drive an extra 45 seconds to the restaurants on the other side of the highway!

This location has great hamburgers and shakes but everytime we go there it seems to be quite a long wait. Usually that means they have a lot of business so.go figure. The food is good, the shakes are better. They probably just need some good help, which, as you know, is hard to come by.

This Sonic sucks! I hope they close because with the service, them never having what we want to eat or drink and to the cashier who didn't look like she knew what she was doing plus not giving me the correct change. I will never ever come back.

This place never gets my order right. Not once since I moved nearby have they gotten my order correct. The staff is rude this last time I went there the GM Paul, I believe, apologized and asked me to give them another chance. I don't normally take a comp'd meal, but he didn't even offer that. Gave me no reason to even consider going back to this location, even though I live less than half a mile away, I'd rather go to the McMullen or Roosevelt location. I will go out of my way to get Sonic food than to go here. This location should just close and be done with it.

This has to be the worst sonic in the whole of san antonio. The staff at the time inwas there, Around 2 in the afternoon 11.19.21 staff did have masks but they were hangin off their face or being worn on their chin. Melinda, an employee, was eating tots and various things just walking around. I understand you snack on things from time to time but not at the drive through window infront of guests. Once it goes dark they do not turn on their neon lights or car port lights in hopes people will assume they are closed. I only know because a staff member mentioned it to me thinking it was funny. Over all just a poorly managed site with unsavory staff. Even with no line you somehow end up having to wait 10 min for your food. Avoid this spot. Whataburger and bill millers are right across the street. Safer bet.

Been here in past, yes.they are extremely slow here.expect to wait about 20 to 30 minutes.came to revisit after a while.
I push the button, and wait.after about 15 minutes. They finally answer stating they are only accepting drive thru and credit cards, no cash.
Thats fine and all but notify people with some kind of sign.waste of time.

It took them over 30 minutes to bring out my food even though I ordered online. They also got my order wrong.

Waiting forever and still got the wrong order The Burger was super cold and so were the tots I remember why I don't go to sonic anymore.

It's getting a little bit better service but most of the time when we go and visit Sonic on IH35 and Division most of the time they don't have onion rings they don't have bananas for The Banana Splits they always run out of food that they need and I don't know what the problem is but I just wish somebody would just check up on them and make sure that you know it's convenient 4 the customer

It was horrible i waited almost 1 hour in my car i ordered and i was pressing the red button over and over i even knocked on the door and they said it would be done in 5 but it wasn’t all i wanted was a corndog a plain cheese burger with tater tots and a purple nerd slush and vanilla ice cream and the meat tasted frozen like not cooked the tater tots were cold and my corndog was cold the ice cream had hair and the slush wasn’t even sweet i strongly don’t recommend coming her i certainly won’t be coming back!

The worst slowest service ever. When is this place going to be shutdown? There has to be a better corporate restaurant that could put this corner property to better use.

Very slow.waited over 30 minutes and when I finally tried asking where food was still waited for someone to tell us they are short staff. This is the 2nd time this has happened. This location is giving Sonic a bad name!
