17The person taking orders on the intercom on 6/21 during lunch: SUPER RUDE! Who yells at customers because they have specific request on what they want or don't want on their burger. When the car hop brought my food, she confirmed that this person is always rude to customers. Why does he still work there or still take orders. This is your stores 1st person to interact with your customers! And when I say yelled, I mean it. Rudely!
The ordering systems at multiple Sonics have been messed up for at least a week.
Today, I ordered a drink at this Sonic and the credit card screen was messed up. However, I definitely was still able to select pay with card and swiped my card. The screens after were all scrambled.
When the carhop came out, I mentioned to her the screen was messed up. I figured she would care since I was unable to tip on my card. She did not care at all.
She then told me the price of my order, as if I had selected to pay cash. I told her I had swiped my card. She told me it did not go through. So I paid her cash. She was very dismissive and rude throughout.
When I got home I checked my card online and they had charged my card. So she either lied to pocket the cash or is incompetent. I don't care about the money, it was just a couple bucks for a drink. Just the point that she was rude/dismissive when I mentioned the screen and she lied/incompetent about double charging me.
Not going back to any Sonic soon and definitely not this location for a long time.
Can i leave 0 stars? The customer service is absolute trash. The man taking our order was rude and rushing us. Nicholas insisted that we couldn’t pay in cash and in card. (Partial payments) BUT IVE LITERALLY DONE THIS BEFORE. He looked at us like we were stupid. And this isn’t the first time we come to this sonic and receive the same attitude.
Sonic is a 'hometown' favorite with a fast food appeal. We love this neighborhood location for stopping by from errands to after school pickup/ happy hour to redeeming late night deals on the app or just loading up / feeding the entire family on 1/2 price Tuesday burgers.
Whoever trains and manages this location deserves a raise! Even the kids here are the most polite/ quick to please. Being a Texlahoman, we're happy you make it look good in Texas!
Yeah something has definitely changed with this location. A lot of never before seen laziness. Spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to take my order, left when I realized it wasn’t happening.
Got cheese sticks. Oil was rancid. Unpleasant after taste. Didn't taste very good like they typically do at other sonics I've been to. Limeade wasn't bad though it had a decent amount of flavor.
Very disappointed by the lack of effort and professionalism from this place. To make things worse, tonight is the second time this week they don't have ice cream, only "shakes". So I went and ordered a MINI chocolate shake and a MINI churro shake. I specifically said MINI 4 times and I corrected them because on their screen they kept putting on medium. Somehow they come out with medium shakes and charged me for it too. I didn't bother to say anything because we had already waited for 30mins. About 5 to 10 minutes for them to even take our order. The people working there sound and look so uninterested to work there that they dont even put in any effort. Just look at how pretty my shakes looked. By the way, they were melted by the time we got them.
If Zach and the two other employees inside would stop talking so much my 2 drinks wouldn't take 10 minutes to make. If yall didn't know we can see you inside at night walking around talking and not doing anything else. Also, as a courtesy- don't bring customers drinks overflowing the lid.
Can we turn down the outside music? Far too loud. People working the intercom need to speak directly into their microphone. Quiet speaker and loud music is a fail. Food is always hot and delivered fast. Not sure why patrons have to endure forced music especially since modern music sucks. Very annoying.
An absolute joke We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken and then waited another 20 for the order to come out. All the employees looked miserable and forced to do their job. Our shakes were all messed up and melted and the food was cold and burnt. They will probably end up shutting down.
I am unsure if they know what "extra onions" means, but they tried as it was scattered about the hotdog I ordered, mostly around the wrapping. Otherwise, the extra fried tater tots were amazing!
Arrived at stall #12, pushed red button and waited. 10 mins later red button light disappeared and pushed it again. We left 2 minutes later without ordering. I have an app but our order is custom which is not available in app. Unhappy child in car. 10 minute wait for no response? Unacceptable.
So disappointed in my large popcorn chicken this is like 3 pieces and crumbs️they didn’t even give me the receipt and I ended up just throwing it away.
I ordered online so I didn’t spend too much time at this location but MARGIE (That’s the name on my receipt, hopefully that’s her) WAS SUPER KIND! What a great day to start the day, definitely will be back!
Older guy taking our order is not so friendly. I ordered two simple things. I made a big deal about NO CHEESE. You gave me cheese. Come on guys!
Man, I love Sonic. I love everything on their menu. It is my go-to spot. This is the best restaurant ever.
My drinks were good but it took so long for someone to answer the speaker I had to put in a order through the app
