Sonic Drive-In, Cedar Park TX

Website said the place opened at 7 AM and I placed my order at around 8 o’clock. I waited 15 minutes but Did not get my drink. I pressed the red button and waited five minutes but did not get an answer. I ordered through the app (which allowed me to place the order) and unfortunately was unable to cancel my order. Other cars showed up as well and waited and like me eventually left.

Possibly the worst sonic I’ve ever been to. Awful wait times (30-45 minutes), rude service, mediocre food at best. Would not recommend ever coming to this struggling location and just going to literally any other fast food location, like the whataburger right next door. Trashy location.

If I hadn’t already paid, I would’ve left. I’m currently still waiting. I’m pretty sure there is only one guy in there taking all the orders and bringing them out. He seems to only be able to handle the driver thru though and he’s taking his time getting to the cars that are parked. It took more than 10 minutes after I ordered (just cookie dough bites and a drink) and the ice cream that comes with the cookie dough bites is only half full. And he didn’t bring a spoon. I understand being short-staffed but management really needs to do something to improve this location.

No complaints. Does what a sonic is supposed to do. I only hit the drive through so I can’t speak for the pull up experience. I like their footling coney chili dog, chili cheese tater tots, and a large cherry limeade. Costs under 10$ for the large combo and is very filling.

I love sonic but today food was just horrible the chicken sandwhich we ordered was old and the tater tots were old stale and cold my chili dog that I ordered was cold chili was disgusting we could not finish our food and we called to make a complaint and the manager sounded like he didnt care

Terrible! No gravy... Bs. No crunchy chicken strips. Just the old style. At this point, this is the last time I will eat at a Sonic. Already stopped eating at Subway, etc. Add Sonic to the list of unacceptable fast food.

I am totally disjointed with this place. Slow service and my order was wrong. Out of a group of 4, i was first to order, last to get my food.

First an order came out when I hadn't ordered yet. Then when I did order the screen said Chelsea was on her way out. I waited almost 10 minutes no order. I pushed the button again and they called out an order that wasn't mine first. The lady said it was on its way out and I waited another 3-4 more minutes. All I ordered was a quarter pound cheeseburger with a small fry. My burger was flat with cold burnt meat and my fries only had about 8 in the box and was salty cold. Really! The manager came and out and felt the patties and the fries. Apologized and asked if wanted it remade. That was definitely a no! So she gave me a refund and a token for a medium drink. Which should have been a free meal coupon for the trouble I had to endure. Asked me if I wanted to keep the food but why would I want something cold and you touched all over it too. Make it make sense!

Really, really slow to even take an order. Last 3 times we tries to get food, we would end up just leaving after 10 minutes of no response to the button. Sonic is great, this location.not so much.

Ordered chili cheese and got regular chz tots so i asked for chili cheese tots again for the mistake of my order and they came back with chz tots again and not just that but ordered mozzarella sticks and they were were under cooked.want my money back

Tried to order a limeade and they literally couldn’t get it right. I was so frustrated after minutes of talking on the speaker with this guy trying to correct the drink. All I wanted was a LIMEADE! Lol Avoid this place.

I always have to wait 10mins just to order! Then another 10 for food. Fast food. I think not. I can cook faster at home.

Ordered a 5 piece chicken strip box combo got home and there’s only 4 pieces. No tots and no onion rings. Also no sauce. Are you kidding me? I want a refund. They served it to me in a bag like this too…

Love using the app to order. Got a notice my order was ready before I arrived. Sat for 10 minutes after checking in before I got my food.
Carhop was apologetic, gave him $1.50 tip.

Been sitting for 30 minutes for three drinks.

When i pushed the button i was told he has a full lot and ill just have to wait. Must be the other half of the lot cause theres only one other car i can see.

I gotta give them props. Last time I was there, they were slammed like busy as all hell and they got my food out fast and no problems! Plus they were under staffed that day and still managed to be polite. "Hey corporate give them a raise! "

Just moved from California and visited this location for the first time for a breakfast burrito. While it did take a little while to receive my order, the employee who took my order and who delivered it to me were so kind and apologetic for the short delay that it made my day and made me okay with waiting all day if i had to! Great customer service, keep it up yall?

Poor staff are clearly understaffed and overrun with customers. My slushy was melted and this location always forgets any add ins to drink orders.
