South Heart Clinic, PLLC, Harlingen TX

Dr. Mazzola and Nathalie Guajardo, PA are so amazing. I was having some issues with my arrhythmia and they got right down to the root of the problem. They are both so thorough and you can tell they sincerely care about their patients. They take the time to listen to you and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend coming to see them if you are experiencing symptoms related to an arrhythmia! They are really the best!

Dr. Balderas and his staff make me feel so comfortable. He has excellent bedside manner, which in my opinion ALL doctors should have.
No one wants to come to the doctor, no one wants to be sick. When I come to see Dr. Balderas I honestly leave happy that I came. That speaks volumes. It makes me feel so good knowing I have a doctor that listens and genuinely cares about me.

Very good doctor, very attentive to all the assistants, very good people, they serve you very well

Dr. Mazzola is a remarkable electrophysiologist, his ability to weed out possible conditions in order to find out the actual issue is amazing! You can tell that he really cares about his patients. All of the cardiologists here are extremely talented and good at what they do, I suggest going to south texas heart clinic for any heart problems!

The procedure was a success and doing great after. Highly recommend him for cardiac electrical issues

Dr hilmy is my doctor sent me for a CT on heart did it next day his office called me said he had an emergency had to cancel appointment gave me one for over to months later had nobody that could read and give me results I moved out of tx was called about my appointment told them I moved asked if I could call to get results of CT I was told no I had to come in again told her I moved 2200 miles away said I would have to come in what a shame didn't take my insurance BCBS of tx so I had to pay cash for everything and having heart and breathing problems and be told you can't get your results that is important to your health this is not professional or caring for someones health

Dr. Balderas was very professional and thorough. He explained everything in detail and was not dismissive at all-he listened and made an education decision as to what was best for his patient-my grandmother in this case. Took his time and did not rush through the appointment. Highly recommend!

Dr. Yamamura is very caring, explains well, and demonstrates genuine concern for her patients. I would recommend her care!

The intake is like a well oiled machine. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. At the same time, the doctors give you their undivided attention and my doctor even remembers me and my case. On that point, Dr. James Stone is awesome. He explains everything in a manner that is easy to understand and doesn’t mind taking time to make sure we understand. He’s fantastic.

Visit 5/2/23: I went to go see Dr. Michael Evans because I’ve been feeling chest pressure, light headedness and dizziness. I went there with questions, and I left with even more questions. Dr. Evans did not help me with my immediate concerns or issues at all. He had terrible bedside manner. He was completely unempathetic, and instead I ended up arguing with the guy because he refused to help me. I left the South Heart Clinic in worse condition than when I went in. It was a complete waste of time and money. Now I’m out the $40 copay and I’m still feeling terrible.

To South Heart Clinic, don’t respond with such a generic response. How about you do your job properly.

Update 5/8/23: Funny how I write a negative review for the terrible and unprofessional service that i received, and instead of giving me my money back, that I got scammed out of, I get a letter of termination of patient-physician relationship. Obviously, after Dr. Evans and I finished arguing about his lack of service, I was going to go look for another physician. The fact that I had to argue with a heart doctor about my heart condition and how I was feeling at that moment and the lack of empathy or care I got in return says more about South Heart Clinic and how they’re willing to treat patients as disposable. I don’t need nor want your best wishes.

Discharged from hospital 2-19-2023. Told by Dr Stone to call and schedule appointment within 2 weeks. Have left voice mail messages no return of calls.really impressive…

I have not had an issue with this office. They are always very professional. My visits really don't take that long.

Dr. Garza saw my uncle and he completely changed his life! He doesn't have pain anymore and is very satisfied with the care he received. Dr. Garza's nurse Amy is awesome too!
