Southdown Dog Park reviews
15It's a nice dog park, only downside is the water fountain for dogs is outside of the park and was turned off so there was no water for my dogs. There were quite a few ant piles as well.
It's a nice spacious dog park for big dogs and a separate park for small dogs.the people are friendly, especially when u have something in common.the love of dogs!?
It’s an ok dog park but they have a huge mud puddle that needs to be fixed because my moms large dog had a good mud bath in it.
Great dog park first time going here and my puppy loved it met so nice people and their dogs
We come here every now and then to let the kids play. Kids are older now, so I let the husband play! He likes to run his RC car in an open space with hills. It wasn't too crowded then, so it was perfect.
Great place to take the kids. I love to take my baby here. It has a large jungle gym with padded grounds.a large splash park and a doggie park next door. The jungle gym is covered so no rain or sunburns to ruin the day. May also hold cookouts.bathrooms on site at pavilion
Tip: touch the black cap on the fire hydrant to start the splash pad.
Kids love it! They always ask to go to the blue park. Lol! Especially a great place to visit during the warmer months since it has a splash pad.
Like someone else said, lots of poop piles. No poop bags in station when I came. Broken gate to entry. Could use minor repairs to make it great again. Good shade and large.
Should of took pics but it's invasive to snap shots when other kids are around. This is nor a dog park.it's called Westfield park. Nice water park area and dry playground. Gotta love PEAR land of the pears! Lol great park though and experience!
The name is misleading here - this is either the wrong photo as a cover, or a mislabeled of the park.
The kids area is fantastic! Has a shaded area for the playground, and a splash pad that is open during warm months.
There are detached restrooms within a short walk and the park is well maintained.
The entrance is a bit off to the side of a buidling away from the parking so would be nice to have a bit of a label to point attendees the right directions to the entrance. The park is decent size with obstacles for dogs to run and practice, plus lots of shades spaces for the dog parents to sit and watch over them. I do notice that there are some poop piles throughout the park spaces that people are not picking up after their dogs. If only some emphasis were made at the front on picking up poop. Or more poop bag stations near the midway point would be nice to facilitate that behavior.
Perfectly located right off 288 so we were able to drop sissy off at Petsmart for grooming, then bring the boys to play.they had lots of fun and made many friends. Then headed over to Lupe Tortilla, which has an outdoor patio for dogs.had brunch.then swing back to pick up sissy.awesome park
They need light on so we can enjoy lil after 6 please were out there with head light on so ouir kids can enjoy the park.safety first. Pearland.
Nice park, plenty of space. The water station is outside the dog area, so you have to take your dog out on a leash to get water, then bring the dog back in. Kind of a hassle. The closest parking is a bit of a walk too, so leash walking to and from your car is a bother. Still a great park overall. Well maintained and great space. Even has some obstacles to take your dog on and through.
Located on the southernmost end of Pearland park. There is a gated area with a small obstacle course for the dogs. It's well maintained and never too busy!
