The institute really helped me out, the staff are incredibly fun and makes the environment enjoyable, i would recommend this school to others who are looking for trades

This institute is the real deal! They will help you achieve your goals and they lead you to succeed in your career. Today was my last day in the welding program at the institution, and I’m graduating with a job already waiting for me to start. I would not have had this amazing opportunity if it wasn’t for my awesome instructors and staff. Thank you SCI for helping me get there, and most importantly THANK YOU to my amazing welding instructors MR. LOPEZ, & MR. RODRIGUEZ for helping me become the best welder I can be! Y’all were the best instructors I ever met!

First of Priscilla in admissions made me feel real comfortable if it wasn't for her being the person she is I probably would have walked out because I was nervous. I am so happy with the initiative I made to go to school and the school is real nice and the ambience makes u feel like things will be good while there. Michael at financial aid also was real helpful taking all the questions I would have asked if he hadn't explained it on his own. So yes I am glad to be going there and I can't wait until I get started with the future I so deserve

Great school! Everyone including instructors are very helpful. They go above and beyond to address any issues you may have and work with you. Would recommend just ask questions.

The welding instructor Juan G. Lopez is not professional, when I graduated from his class he said I was welcome to come back and practice and when I did he was very rude, he started messaging me but I never responded, so he held my certificates and nccer card, i had to personally message him and threaten him with complaining to the school to get my card and certificates, I personally would not recommend anyone to this school I wish I would have done more research before choosing this school.

Was a super easy process for the application ind they really work with you and around your work schedule I'm was really nervous but they kept on encouraging me and I got accepted in the end many thanks to southern careers institute

I had a great experience here at SCI every one is very friendly. They are always there to answer any questions you may have. I recommend it especially the Business Administration program. Thank you SCI!

I came in without knowing anything or where i was standing in life, but me enrolling to this school was a life changer. I didn’t know anything of welding not even the most minimum thing or term. But thanks to my Instructor Mr. Lopez i was able to learn all types of welding. It’s an amazing environment great teaching. The instructor will show you everything you need to learn IT IS UP TO YOU IF YOU REALLY WANT TO LEARN. Like my instructor says “ You get what you put in “
But trust me when i tell you it change my life i now have a career that it’s always going to be there for me the skills the knowledge.
Mr. Lopez is the type of teacher that if you don’t understand the first time you can keep asking him to explain all the times you need until you get it i tell you from personal experience.

Tomorrow Friday I’m finishing my welding program and i should start working in the following week.

This is Amazing school, I recommend it for anyone who’s trying to go for Medical assistant!?

SCI is a very welcoming place for everyone. Career services and the rest of the staff do check up on you though out your time there and even after. Great place to start in a new career path.

I was so impressed by how much they are right there by your side from inquiring about a program to enrolling and getting everything going. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional and made sure all my questions were answered. They made the entire process less intimidating and scary. So excited to start classes soon!

Just wanted to take the time and express how happy I am with my overall experience at Southern Careers Institute- Harlingen Campus. It was a very challenging year for me financially, mentally, and emotionally. Southern Careers Institute was with me every step of the way. Even when I thought of quitting and throwing in the towel, the staff reassured me that I could make it and believed in me. Big shout out to the financial department Mrs. Kara and the whole team for always giving me options to continue my education. Southern careers gave me a great education. The instructors were great and always made sure we succeeded in our class work and labs. It was a great school for me to continue my education as a medical assistant.

There were day's that wanted to give up, but SCI professor's, director, mentors, and as well other staff will be always helping out. They will make sure if there was any difficulties, or problems with any course's they will always had a helping hand! Will totally recommend SCI in Harlingen for anyone that is looking for a better future or trying to accomplish a goal!

This is one of the best educational facilities that I have ever been enrolled at. They pushed me to keep going and finish even though there were so many reasons for me to give up. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone and everyone wanting to further their education.
