Southern Oaks RV Resort - RV Park & Campground, Aransas Pass TX

Beautiful RV PARK. Actually has 2 Pickleball courts, which seems rare in this area. Unfortunately the pool was not open, renovating that area. Should have been informed when making phone reservations. Love the beach, but the beach is aways away & we like to come back from the beach & enjoy the pool. Many workers here with children. Loud music & noise. Should have a separate area for long term RV'ERS. We will probably not return unless there are some changes.

My husband and I came to Southern Oaks from another park that we loved. They sold the park and were weren’t happy so we moved here to Southern Oaks. We never thought we would find another park that we loved. I can say we love it here more than the other park. The new management is amazing. The park has so many amenities. If you are looking for a great park give Southern Oaks a call.

I came to Southern Oaks for work. This park is very tranquil. The scenery was beautiful and if you have fur babies there is plenty for them to enjoy. Mine enjoyed walking the park. The staff was amazing. They were friendly and attentive when I had questions as a first time RV camper. I can’t wait to come back.

Love this place so relaxing and beautiful. Really nice people here making us feel very welcome.

My family and I only choose this place every time we come down. We usually have our trailer, my folks trailer and our family friends bring theirs as well. Our kids love all the play grounds here, the fishing and we enjoy the people here. The communication is by far the best! Plus we have our boat and conn brown is only 5/10 mins away. We will be back down in 3 weeks for a vacation and can't wait to stay here again!

One of nicest parks. New managers are great.roomy spaces, lits of activities. Nicely landscaped. Wide safe streets.

It's a large rv resort with lots amenities. Mgr and wife are very nice people. I would love to see more pickleball courts (which I believe they have in the works) and a hot tub.

This is a nice campground. We stayed here for 9 weeks. Lots of space in your spot. Very clean campground, laundry room, & bathrooms. Lots of activities. The laundry room was closed for almost 4 weeks for renovations, so it's pretty now, but was annoying having to go elsewhere for laundry. We had not been told about the closed laundry room until a week before it happened. The internet isn't the best, very slow during the day and evenings. The traffic noise is too much for me. The campground is beside a major highway so you hear the traffic 24/7. Lots of the people living in the campground leave for work between 5am & 6am, very loud trucks.

A very nice RV park with spacious lots and an amazing community center. It has a gym, library, pool, pool table, tiki bar and 2 kids playground!

The nicest campground in this area. Large sites, well kept grass, new pickle ball courts, huge dog park with turf, beautiful clean clubhouse, beautiful pool, a calendar loaded with activities, and the nicest management around. This place is a wonderful value. Do yourself a favor and enjoy your winter or anytime here. It's our new home.

The management is really bad, they get involved in your personal business.
They should concentrate on the park’s problems!

The only reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the Mosquitoes. They are so bad you cannot spend time outdoors.

The wind blows too hard and too frequently to utilize citronella. Off doesn't phase them.

They really need to hire pest control company to rectify this issue.

I wish we could rate this park a 10. They are fabulous. Such friendly ladies in the office. So helpful. Staff on grounds wave and are so kind. There is a beautiful park for the dogs to run and play off lease. Fenced in and ASTRO turf. Park for kids. Beautiful clubhous with lots of activities. Pool that is very clean. They drive by and pick up your trash. Very supportive of guest hosting a class. Hands down just amazing. We appreciate everyone here. Excellent management.

This RV resort is great! We stayed four months here. First, the staff is amazing. They all are very helpful and proud of the park. They will speak about all the plans and what is coming. I hope for some hiking and bike trails in the future, since they have a lot of land. The amenities are great. The park has picketball, shuffleboard, basketball court, and a club house that is open 24/7. Which is a great place to spend playing pool table, working, chatting with other residents. They also have a room for all the activities. The pool is heated, great size gym, laundry and showers. They are opening a dog park and it looks huge! There are two playgrounds, one is under construction. Four ponds! They have mail rooms available, and they will keep your packages safe. T-Mobile works great here, 5G. The park has brand new WiFi, we were able to work and my son took his virtual classes the entire time. You are close to Rockport, Port A. 30 minutes from Corpus Christi, 5 minutes from WM.and the beach. We could not ask for a better place to spend winter. We are already reserved for winter, we are coming back.

It was awesome i was in a state of euphoria the moment i arrived until the sad dark day that i was scheduled to depart i miss it terribly

Had a great time at Southern Oaks. The facility is top notch and superbly maintained. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely come again.
