Very upset with Bree! We contacted her regarding a hurt Red Tail Hawk that lives on our property, a Wildlife preserve and his natural habitat on Friday before the 4th of July Holiday. She asked us to catch him, bring him in and they would treat him and release him back to us or bring him back and release him to his natural habitat. We contacted them to check in on him after the weekend was over and was told that they could not give us that information as they handle over 600 birds a year and they just could not keep track of them. We just discovered that they did not have our guy fill out any paperwork when he dropped him off. And how many Red Tail Hawks did they receive over the weekend that they cant keep track of? Do not understand why they could not tell us if he was okay. We care about these birds and just want him to be returned to his natural habitat, mate and babies. He has lived here for ever. Please help him and bring him back to his home.

Dr Moore and his Colleagues are life savers (literally). Have been with them for 9 years and 3 dogs. They keep a pretty high bar!

The doctor is great, the front desk staff are abhorrent. Every phone call is a battle with them, they can’t give straight answers. Business is being taken elsewhere.

I have been to several veterinarians in the area and I have to say that Southlake Animal Hospital is one of the BEST. The staff are professional, kind and very helpful. They have always taken excellent care of my pets whenever I bring them in. I would recommend Southlake Animal Hospital over any other vet clinics.

These folks really care about your pets and their owners. I brought in our 8 year old cat as she had some kind of cough and wheezing and continued going downhill. Dr D went over her thoroughly and gave me an estimate on what it would cost for several tests and also treatments. I chose a conservative treatment after discussing with Dr D. The cat was given an X-ray and did not appear to have a mass etc and was given an antibiotics injection along with an injection to help with her cough. It took about a week but she’s back to normal. They are busy most of the time but highly recommend.

Amazing Dr's, friendly back staff, and just amazing good with the animals. Front desk staff and the high prices is the only reason for the 4 stars.

I have a bearded dragon that had a serious medical issue. I had to take her to an emergency animal hospital to get stitched up, and I needed a vet that would see exotics for a follow up, and I found this place. They were extremely helpful even though I had a ton of questions, and they communicated thoroughly back and forth with me while my beardie stayed with them.
I am writing this review because even after I’ve paid and picked her up yesterday, they took the time to call and ask about her, and mentioned they would check again next week.

Additionally, anyone that has an exotic animal of any kind should know that vet visits can be costly, but they were very reasonably priced considering she needed x-rays and had to stay 2 nights.
I’m keeping this place saved in my phone forever for any future visits.

10 out of 10 by far the best veterinarian in DFW area. They truly care about your pet and they have very reasonably prices compared to other vet but they are not cheap because they are very high quality facility. I can’t thank them enough!

This is the exotic vet that we use when our reptiles get sick at work. They are very nice, and friendly at this vets office! I highly recommend them!

I spent days looking for a vet for my ferret and they were the only ones that helped me and answered all my questions. I took my ferret in today and when I got her back she was so happy, she’s just like how she was before she started showing symptoms for adrenal disease. Thank you so much I appreciate all the help!

The staff is so very sweet. So much so that my dog didn't want to leave, even after getting vaccinated!

Their reputation precedes them, good and skilled folks work here and they're a definite go-to for ferret care. I just wish they were closer, it's 80 miles roundtrip for me lol.

Dr. D is just the sweetest vet you could ask for! She is always thorough when explaining tests and treatments. I am so lucky to have found her! The front staff and techs are a hoot too! They are a pleasure to talk to when there's a wait and are very patient with my cranky older cat.

Some there isn't anything that the Dotors and their staff can't handle at this hospital.

The staff here has made the experience of going to "The Vet" absolutely wonderful. Everyone here truly cares about animals and wants the best for every critter that enters through their doors. They are well informed and suggest the best medicines. Very happy with their service and will continue returning here as long as I have an animal companion.
