If I could leave a zero star review, I would. This is a tale of STC misrepresenting a product they sold to a 17 year old and subsequently taking the position of “how could you not be aware of the fact that your lessons expired that we communicated through an obscure email we sent you after you spent your money with us”?

Last year my 17yr old purchased a set of Summer lessons advertised on STC Website as “schedule at your convenience and enjoy”. It got so hot that she almost passed out at her second lesson, so she paused. The instructor left the center shortly after. When the child attempted to take the rest of the lessons this year before going away to college she was told the lessons expired after 6 mos and she should have known this based on an email that was (maybe, cannot be confirmed) sent (which we cannot locate and STC staff could not find they sent either while on the phone with us). No lessons or refunds will be given. She is off to college now.

STC staff appears comfortable taking this position and we must assume this is a regular occurrence there. They must feel protected by municipal ownership and legal protection it offers. However, we now feel determined to turn this into a learning experience for our daughter and will pursue every consumer protection, state office and legal venue available to us. Days of consumer rights abuses through obscure and buried terms and conditions without asking for an explicit consumer acknowledgement are behind us and we feel it necessary to teach our 17 yr old this lesson. We will keep everyone here updated on progress. In the interim, keep your attorney available to review all terms and conditions of a purchase your child makes with STC (probably buried in a random obscure email they send you after the purchase) ).

Good coaching for kids especially technique, good practice and even helpful for kids to learn life lessons while leaning tennis at same time

Best Tennis Center. I drive 25 min to play there when I have tennis courts available close by. Great coaches, Friendly and helpful front desk and an amazing Director Steve Poorman-very passionate Coach!

Great facility. However, watch your email! The kids programs will auto-renew and the manager will refuse a refund after it has been charged. Apparently you have to cancel through an email they say was sent but we have no record of.

Lost my business to make a few short term dollars.

*Edit: Received a pro-rated refund due to the session already starting. Upgraded review to 3*; still not happy with an auto-renewing kids program that must be disenrolled through an email. If I wanted to sign my kid up, I'd do it. Auto-renewals are a money grab.

*Edit2: Got a full refund. Sticking with 3* due to the inconvenience. What a.racket.
