Southside Flying Pizza reviews
21I order from here all the time for delivery. They make you use some 3rd party service called Toast. Normally it’s fine, but tonight my $87 worth of pizza (including a tip) never showed. The people at Toast can’t help, and nobody will answer the phone. I’ve tried to call and been on hold with music playing for 30 minutes. How do you have a place that takes takeout and delivery orders and not answer the phone? I want a refund but I can’t even reach you. Terrible.
So not a bad pizza spot on the super south side. Pizza was good, service was good, and they have a pretty large space. Inside and outside areas, beer, full bar, bottle beer, and contain drinks. Service was good and they have an arcade area.
3 stars for the draft not working, the ice in the bottled beer bucket was melting and most of the beers were not that cold, arcade area is hot, arcade coin machine is broken, and it was noticeable that they don't clean the parm/flake shakers (I'll leave it at that)
Jeez, what happened to this place? Awhile back, I ordered online and just ended up leaving after waiting an hour (they "accidentally" gave my pizza to someone else). I just recently ordered the other day and my pizza was RAW. Not only raw but by far the thinnest pizza I've ever gotten. It's like if you all decreased in pizza size as well as in quality.
Pizza was ok, but part of our order was not delivered. I reached out multiple times with no response and no refund. How do you expect to keep customers this way? So disappointed.
Horrible service.don’t put yourself through the pain.upper management should be fired.order took an 1.5 hours- pizza ovens cook in 7 minutes…
I placed a order and They messed up what's going on over there this is the 2nd time that messed up my order I'm getting frustrated with residents people with southside pizza yeah I need to straighten it up and get the orders right if not get another job
The Veggie pizza (The Greensider) is delicious. Even the chicken option is great. I like the service at this location.
Lunch today with my sweet friend from Mexico! Super tasty Cheeseburger! I know, I know, it’s a pizza place and I get the burger. But, it’s a great Cheeseburger. All the ingredients are fresh and the key is to get them to grill the onions and jalapenos. They do it so well every time. Thank you for taking care of my burger needs. Oh, and I usually go on a weekday lunch when it is much less busy. You’re welcome.
Pizza is always good at South Side.either location. But this place surpassed my expectations. I ordered the King Pepperoni and was not really happy with what I got compared to how loaded it looked online. That being said.the manager on duty was like, "don't worry, I got you". Boom! I was not expecting the response but that's how it's done! I wasn't complaining I was just making sure I got what I ordered. And I did! Thanks!
Seems a nice place, though I was charged 8 dollars a slice for the display pizza. Just would recommend verifying cost before agreeing to buy anything from here.
Service at this location can't compare to the excellent service at the Congress location. Same perfect thin crust pizza, but atmosphere was lacking.
This pizza is seriously good. Their King of Pepperoni is the best having every square inch of the Pizza fully covered. They also have a drive thru to pick up your pizza.
Some of the tastiest pizza I've had in town, with a really beautiful and diverse selection. Pretty decent Margarita to boot!
They let my pizza sit over an hour before I called to wonder why it wasn't delivered yet instead of calling to let me know " hey we don't have a driver today, you gotta come get it" 1/10 on service for that mess. Pizza is good otherwise.
This is a nice little locally owned spot that has recently been renovated. They have good pizza, pepperoni rolls and burgers.
The place is still finding itself physically, but the food? !? The salads are so good - fresh, generous, and the dressing is so good! When I first tried the pizza, I found it bland until I realized I had been eating their AMAZING ghost pepper serrano wings. Oh my gosh! Not as hot as I expected, but after the amazing flavor hits it is definitely followed by a kick, lol. The Buffalo and BBQ wings and fries were also very popular at our table. We ate family style and, though the buffet is gone, we all left very content. The arcade is a work in progress, but it managed to keep the kids occupied quite nicely while the adults gabbed. Will definitely be back
Excellent tasting pizza! An authentic homemade sauce really sets it apart from the others. Best pizza rolls I have had too!
Pizza was okay. Service was TERRIBLE.
They don’t answer their phone on purpose so when the food is over 30 minutes late and you have to drive over to pick it up, they just say “sorry ma’am, it’s on its way” and don’t offer any type of coupon or discount for the inconvenience. We won’t be ordering from them again.
Go to literally any other southside location and youll get amazing pizza. I dont know why but this location manages to bungle something every single time i get food here (wrong pizza/burnt garlic knots/etc) and they have a horrible/lazy attitude about it.
Best pizza rolls and best ranch and Gorgonzola dressings to pair them with. We don’t love their marinara, so we always go with their rolls over their pizza when we do family pizza night.
