They had the upmost professionalism and compassion with me. Needless to say, I was scared and they made it their number one job to put me at ease. My stay with them couldn’t have been better! I mean this, in the nicest way but, I hope that I never have to see them again. Like I said before, with the way they took care of me, I don’t think I’ll have to!

Efficient, interested, knowledgeable, helpful. My first of several interactions to come was very good. The office staff is patient and communicate very well. Dr. Dewey and his assistant answered every question my wife and I had with great detail. Very comfortable with our decision to use Southwest Cardiothoracic for my heart care.

Dr McBride is an awesome doctor he did a 5 bypass heart surgery on my husband and did a fantastic job it's been 5 weeks since my husband had his surgery and he looks, feels amazing, his heart sounds amazing. Dr. McBride and his physician assistant Terry are 2 Quality doctors they do what they are trained to do and do it top notch. They give detailed description of what has to be done and why. We highly recommend Dr. McBride, his assistant Terry and all of his office staff seriously 10 stars not just 5 they saved my husbands life and I could never repay them. Thanks so much Dr McBride and Terry for the quality care you gave my husband.

I was referred to Dr. Todd Dewey by my able cardiologist Dr. Bruce Bowers for an acute mitral valve problem and I found Dr. Dewey when I met him last week to be very talented, knowledgeable, competent, trustworthy, attentive, and taking ample time to explain and respond to all questions. Margie, Erica and all other assistants and office staff are friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dewey and his team to any patients who need heart surgeries.

Dr Dewey was highly recommended by my cardiologist and I wasn't disappointed. His staff is friendly and quick to answer calls, his medical assistant is very professional and knowledgeable, and Dr Dewey was attentive, explained my situation to my satisfaction and I know that I am in good hands should I require surgery in the future.

Everybody in Dr. Dewey's support office has been incredibly helpful. Dr. Dewey is "the Babe Ruth" of thoracic surgeons! Dr. Dewey is also a very caring & compassionate person. Dr. Dewey personally saw me everyday that I was under his care at Medical City including weekends. I highly recommend Dr. Dewey!

My father saw Dr. Magee for lung surgery. I would highly recommend this surgeon. He was compassionate, clear, attentive, and answered each and every question. He visited my father in the hospital both of the weekend days, and never seemed rushed or hurried. He was honest with all of his answers. Even though his office said there was no need for a follow up visit, and that he could follow up with the local specialist, he called my father and spent a great deal of time on the phone with him, again answering all questions and concerns.
I work in the healthcare field, and I can say it is rare to encounter this kind of caring physician or provider. Dr. Magee is a wonderful human and a skilled physician.

Dr. McBride performed a CABGx4 on my husband, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience with him and his entire staff. Dr. McBride and his PA spent ample time with us prior to surgery to explain the procedure and answer our questions. Even the hospital staff complimented us on our choice of physician, and seemed to have a lot of respect and confidence in him. Great care from a great physician.
