Spa For Paws, El Paso TX

Spa for paws is truly the best boarding facility in all of El Paso. It’s affordable, has great customer service, and everyone that works there truly loves animals. I know my babies are in good hands with them!

Been to Spa for Paws 2x now. I didn't feel very welcome when I go in, but my dog was comfortable going back and I was very happy with the hair wash, cut and nail trim my dog got. They type of cut appears to depend on the person doing the cut that day. Whomever cut it last week, thank you. Great cut. I hope I get you next time.

I've boarded my dog here twice now. The first experience was fine, but the second, less so. When I picked my dog up from her recent stay, the person working asked if my dog had a limp. (She doesn't.) The worker then nonchalantly stated my dog limped the entire first day of her stay but then woke up the second day without a limp. It's disappointing that no one thought a call was appropriate to check whether this was normal for my dog. I was also charged for a large run even though my dog stayed in a medium run. (Apparently my dog gained a couple pounds which put her just over the threshold of medium/large dogs and the person working told me the rate is based on the weight, not the size of the run.) So I paid about $70ish for 31 hours of boarding. Not to mention the person working at both drop off and pick up was quite unfriendly. I'm not sure how a business could expect someone to return after an experience like that.

Edited to add: I reported her as 45-50 lbs for her first stay over a month ago. She weighed in at 54lbs the day she arrived for her second boarding.

Love the staff and my pets always come home happy! My dog loves his playtime and doesn't hesitate to walk through the doors of this place!

Truly the best place in El Paso to go for boarding, grooming or daycare. It’s the only place I’ll trust with my dogs. The staff always shows the utmost attention in caring for the animals and their facility is always squeaky clean. My dogs always have a blast and love going to Spa For Paws!

They've taken care of my dog for years, there's no one I trust more. Their groomers always do a great job, and I get the peace of mind knowing my dog is somewhere safe and getting to play, not being stuck at home when I'm at work.

Horrible customer service by Daniela Medina, horrible place. They changed the prices last minute, they delayed us 1 hour and 45 minutes because they kept changing the rules. I talked to Daniela and she tells me that she can't do anything and that if I don't like it I dont have to leave my dog with them. Very true, I did not leave my puppy and I will recommend not to do business with this company. Very poor customer service. I only gave one star because I couldn't give them zero stars. Everyone had different rules as to the place.

Miranda loves going to day care and comes home exhausted (which is great for our household of multiple dogs). Julia has a natural talent for reading dogs and understanding their behavior. We trust her with all of our canines

Dropped my new cat off here for just a few days stay and I will do it again if needed. Nice place that seems to care about animals and smelled clean. Nice staff that waited on me each time I came in. My cat, Pepe, was well taken care of! Great place!

We are first time dog owners. We tried taking him here about an hour ago. We were immediately asked if we had an appointment as soon as we walked in to which we responded we did not, we didn’t know an app was needed. This person replied with “Sorry, we can not see him, does he even have his (fancy term for vaccines) ? ” My husband replied with a “No? ” Because he didn’t know what that term meant and employee immediately started saying “Get him out of here, get him out of here! ” My husband then asked if he was asking for his shots bc he did have them & had just gotten another 2. The ee didn’t care to hear him or explain what the requirements are for them to see a dog. Not that we cared at that point, so we just left. It takes one employee to make you not want to go back. Showing a bit of empathy and offering help/guidance would have done the job.

It’s hard for me to leave my 3 dogs behind when I travel out of town but I trust Spa for Paws and Julia with my babies because I know they will be well cared for. I’ve used the boarding services for up to 8 days at a time. The staff is caring, knowledgeable and patient with my dogs. They also know their clients and will recommend the best services for your dog to keep them safe, healthy, and happy. They know my dogs don’t tolerate “daycare” well, and they recommended “walk” service to keep them safe while getting plenty of exercise.
The kennels are spacious, clean, and safe. Highly recommend!

We love Spa for Paws and have boarded our dogs here for the last few years. My pups are nervous about boarding and the staff at the Spa go above and beyond to help my pups feel comfortable. They always come home happy and healthy. Sometimes, if they get dirty, I make sure they get groomed before coming home and they do a great job with baths and blow dries for the pups. The staff is very diligent in their care of my dogs and always know who they are, even if we haven’t boarded in a while and they always post pictures on Facebook for you to check and see. I always enjoy conversing with the staff, who are very friendly and welcoming.

Took my Pup here for her very first grooming session. Though she was scared at first they did an amazing job! She looked so good and smelled AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend and definitely going back.

The staff is knowledgeable and although their knees were at risk they loved her anyway! Best place in town!
