For the amount of money I paid, I learned a lot. It is surely worth your time and money if you learn a lot from it.

The place is very impressive, it is really exciting to know every detail of each area of the projects that are coming up and the trips they have made, NASA really is impressive many attractions for children where they can maneuver with some attractions, many spots to take photos and make letters and drawings to send to the astronauts.

Overpriced and overcrowded. Lower your expectations because there's almost no chance you will be able to experience it in full. We had tickets for 11am, arrived around 10: 45, and by that time the astronaut training facility tour was already sold out. The lines to some unique spots like a space shuttle were crazy, and they were closed for the day before 5 pm (the VR was closed by 4: 30, explanation we got: the line was too long, seriously!?). The museum itself is underwhelming, many small local museums and planetariums have to offer same or even more for much more reasonable price (add parking and pricey food), not to mention that many of interactive exhibits were broken. The only really impressive thing was a historic mission control tour, that is an add on for $15 per person that had to be booked ahead. Overall, I wouldn't recommend unless you have a 8+yo kid who is all into space exploration theme. But even in this case mine astronomy enthusiast left somewhat disappointed. I think they should reduce the number of tickets sold per day to make sure they can handle the amount of visitors, but unfortunatelly it's all about money.

Incredibly busy during the holiday season, there was a 30-minute wait just to buy tickets, and another 15 minutes wait to enter the building. Once inside, it was incredibly crowded, and the exhibits were really not worth the wait, if you don't mind the exorbitant cost (nearly $60 for 2 people!) This is worth checking out if your already in the area.

Overall, the experience was fun but I felt like NASA could’ve done better. I mean come on it’s NASA there was no interactive things for the adults to do and the one tour that I wanted to do was sold out two weeks before you even get there which is to me ridiculous They should reserve a handful of those tours for you to do on site because not everyone’s gonna plan their trip two weeks in advance. The food actually kind of sucked also so giving two stars I think it’s me being nice I haven’t decided yet I’ll go back. Let’s be honest you put people on the moon you could have done better then the cheap experience I had for an expensive price.

NASA = Not As Smart As.

1) Not sure why they sell tickets in 30 minutes blocks if you can get at any time you want.

2) I don't know why they have only one line for both the VR and the Simulator experience. Once you get to the only counter to pay, they won't sell you tickets for both rides. You'll have to get in line again to buy tickets for the other ride. We waited almost two hours just to get do the VR. One of the VR seats was not working, which made things even worst. It wasn't worth getting into the line again for the simulator.

3) Paid full price ticket which includes the Astronaut Training Facility and Rocket Park Tram Tours. The first one was not available for the whole day. The line for the tour got literally to the moon

4) Place was overcrowded. Long lines for both the restaurant (food was OK) and the Space Shuttle display.

My kid was already bored and tired after three hours and we went home very disappointed.

It is sad to see how neglected this place is. Almost all interactive stations are not working, and many attractions are damaged. I can't understand why people just don't care enough to take care of such an iconic place. People come from all parts of the world to visit and find it like this. I'm pretty sure that it is not a money issue considering the tickets' price.

Amazing things to see and inspire the next generation. A must stop for any family in the area!

Highlight of our trip to Houston. We thoroughly enjoed our trip - give yourself the whole day to see it. Disappointed at the very small number of tickets they sell for the Astronaut Training facility and tram tour. We arrived at 940am and the tickets for the day for that tour were sold out. Also recommend taking the tram to the Rocket Park earlier in the day when you arrive as the queue builds up to crazy levels as theday progresses.

Food court was nice with plenty of veg options.

The Space Center was super super busy on Dec 30, when we visited but there was so much to see. The film show events were interesting.

Overall signage and information about shows, etc could be improved - it is all somewhat confusing.

As some have already written here, the whole thing is mega commercial and unfortunately quite a children's playground, with a few real attractions, many are replicas and not that impressive. The only tour we were able to do was the "George W. S. Abbey Rocket Park Tour", the Mission Control Tour could not be booked online for days in advance and the Astronaut Training Tour can only be registered on site, which was no longer possible at 10: 30 in the morning was possible. This is a big joke. A complaint doesn't do anything except "come back tomorrow. "
The rest is pretty scattered and very large, and some things are inaccessible or broken. However, two expensive gift shops with Chinese stuff and the catering area are important. “You have to see it. ”
I was actually really looking forward to it, but the overall impression is rather sobering. Houston Space Center is no longer on the agenda for my next trip to the USA.

Lots of interesting exhibits and artifacts. There are signs and shirts around facility that say "It's not rocket science, oh wait it is". Well the line for the Rocket Park must be something other than rocket science cause they don't have that figured out. We had an entrance time of 10 am and when we entered there was a line going through the middle of the entrance gallery. I spoke with customer service and they said the line speeds up and thins out around 1: 30. So we spent 4 hours touring the Space Center and checked the line at 2 pm. It was even longer, winding through the first exhibit after the gift shop. Why not have more trams or allow people to tour the Rocket Park on foot? Doesn't seem like rocket science to me.

Went for the Galaxy lights for Christmas. Very impressive display and loved the orb color changing ball show above the space center Houston sign.

Space Center Houston is a Hallmark of Houston, and one of the best experiences adults and children alike can enjoy.

The exhibitions are both educational and entertaining, and the staff is passionate about their work.

The gift shops are filled with phenomenal products.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who has even the slightest interest in space exploration, and would recommend that children of all ages be exposed to this wonderful environment.

Amazing time to spend in the space center. So much to learn and experience with the rich history and forthcoming projects to the moon and mars. It's for all ages.

Don't rely too much on their food court food isn't of any good quality.

I went on September 24,2023. This is my second time.
Honestly, I don't think it's a place I'd come to many times, but I feel like I come here for company.
-
You can see the Space Shuttle right in front of you as you walk from the parking lot to the entrance, so you'll be impressed.
I entered with the cheapest admission ticket, but I recommend purchasing it through the app. It's a few dollars cheaper than having your ticket issued on-site.
TramTour, where you can only watch SATURN V, is free. When I went on a Saturday in June, I had to wait in line for quite a while, but on a Sunday in September I was able to go without waiting. I'm amazed at how big SATURN V is.
I didn't find the inside of the Space Shuttle to be all that interesting, but the sense of scale is impressive.
Inside the building is hmm. Whether you find it interesting or not depends on the person.
There is a dining room.
Please note that orthodox NASA goods are also sold at the airport.
Everything in America is really easy as long as you have a credit card. Here at NASA too.

An excellent place, very beautiful, there are many school groups so sometimes they don't let you see the school students because they don't give them a guided tour, however that doesn't take away from the beautiful experience of being there. You have to go early and without rushing so that you have time to see the entire center and the ferry.

It was cool but I thought it would be more exciting especially for the cost of the tickets. After going i feel like i should of paid only $12 or $15 for the ticket not $35. There are some neat things to see and good gift shop that's not too outrageous but nothing really popped if that makes since. Tickets are $35 but if you want to actually do something like the virtual reality ride you must pay extra. $10 each ticket for a 5 min ride which I had to physically press my headset to my face the whole time because if I didn't I couldn't see it correctly due to the worn down face part of the mask that is supposed to hold it tight and in place even with it as tight as it could go. Some of the little game stations like the one where you select each part of the rocket are broken. It says the part selected is incorrect every time, even when it's right. The simulator for the take off little 2 seater station is super low quality, and that experience could have been 100x more fun if they would just update that old video. Parking isn't bad, only $10, which you pay by scanning a QR code. The AC was great and I loved all of the murals and art on the walls. The man floating and rotating in one of the inside the space ship life size stations is super realistic looking (kind of creepy) but cool none the less. We enjoyed our visit but its a place that I only want to go to once unless they get some cool activities or something fun. It's all a bit boring and I love space. This was my first time and while I did have high hopes of cool things to do, it was not what I thought it would be. I would love to go back if they added some fun stuff you can actually do instead of just reading facts and seeing outdated artifacts that used to be what a space ship had inside of it. Bettwr yet show us the tech you have in a rocket today instead of a graphing calculator enclosed in a glass case. I lived in Houston all of my life and always wanted to go imagining what there would be to do there and I feel kind of let down by the experience. I'm happy to make suggestions of what I would of enjoyed seeing or doing if Space Center Houston would like to hear. I'm not a Karen, I don't ever write reviews this long but I was so excited about the legendary space center Houston and its not holding up to the name and reputation with what it is right now. They need to know the honest truth so they can make it a place where kids would actually want to go again.

With the high temperatures in Houston, they should put shaded spaces while people wait in line to enter the place. There are children and older adults who have to wait in the sun for a long time!
