If you are thinking about bringing your loved one hear please look at the reviews. The facility killed my father. Apparently 1 nurse has over 20 patients. They found my father unresponsive for who knows how long. My father was too young, it was not his time to go. This place failed in taking care of my dad. Something that they are paid to do. His passing is on their hands. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Please look up the reviews before you decide on this place

My mom came here after major surgery and was so well cared for! Nursing care was exceptional and PT was what she needed to get stronger. I recommend this facility completely! Thank you for helping my 93 year old mom.

This place took good care of my dad. Staff was great. Nurses gave thorough report on his status when I called. He passed away there. He looked well kept and healthy looking even though he was very ill. He looked like he was just sleeping. Thank you Spanish Meadows team for the good work.

I’ve never been here but tried to go they wouldn’t accept me because I was a transfer from another facility. Was told I had to be from hospital but I had to research for another facility & found what was on internet was insufficient. So I did get these pics sent to me by the facility & thought I’d post them for others having to make this decision. And instead of the fake posed photos the brochures & websites have. People want to see what’s real! They have shower rooms on each hall so no private shower room & these pics show a room that semi private. Don’t know if there are private rooms. This is supposedly a vent room. I don’t have more info because I didn’t get much further since I couldn’t transfer there. Hope this helps someone. Making this decision is big & hard & they should make this easier. Good luck!

I can not begin to thank Spanish Meadows enough for the amazing care my father received during his stay. Everyone was so kind and genuine in his care. They treated him like family. This is an amazing facility filled with wonderful caring staff members that go above and beyond.

I've always said that it seems to be easier to get on social media to write a negative review than it does a good one. That being said, I would like to publicly thank the team at Spanish Meadows Nursing & Rehab for the genuine care and kindness they showed my mother during her recent stay there. From the moment I called to check on the facility, my mother's moment of arrival, her care and then dismissal, the entire staff was incredible! They nursed her closer to her old self, pushed her physically to get better, which enabled her to mentally get better and strong enough so that she could come home. So, my thanks to all of you for a fabulous job well done and for helping get my mother back home with us.

My experience at this facility was a nightmare, if you are a professional nurse and you don't want to lose your license don't apply at this facility, the DON has the worst attitude to speak with the coworkers, she enjoys yelling at the people in front of the patients and also In the hallways.too much documentation less time to assist the patients. I don’t recommend this place.

My dad was referred to Spanish Meadows for rehab after a stay at Memorial Hermann Katy. He enjoyed his time there and I had absolutely no complaints. Even during these crazy covid times, I felt very comfortable with him staying there. Everyone there was very kind and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to send him there again if necessary.

Incredible caring, patient and helpful staff. Several experiences with my dad using them over the years and I trust them. The team is accessible when you have questions or need advice on what to do next. It's not upscale be any means, but the care you get and the people inside are what really matters when you're trying to recover and get stronger.

Should be no stars but I couldn't post my review without picking one star. Take your loved one to another facility. My husband arrived walking and left when he couldn't talk to us. He only received medical care when I asked why he wasn't speaking to us. Test showed he had more strokes. COVID made it impossible to visit so the doctor and nursing staff should have noticed the changes in his behavior and condition.

Spanish Meadows was so professional and kind to our family. Very thoughtful and loving in a time that was so hard. They went way beyond the call of duty to help my sister.
Kept me updated on everything and billing was explained to me.
We will always be grateful to them

This is a very positive review! It was nerve-racking choosing a skilled nursing facility during COVID-19 for our mother after being in the hospital due to a fall (because we could not visit facilities). My siblings and I feel very blessed that Spanish Meadows was on a list of skilled nursing facilities in Katy provided to us by a social worker with Memorial Hermann.

After checking out the websites and reading reviews of all facilities on that list, we chose Spanish Meadows, and we are very thankful we did. There was great communication with the staff, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Mom appreciated the clean facility, the care she received, the delicious food, and she felt safe. The facility took great precautions regarding COVID-19.

When Mom arrived at Spanish Meadows, she had a feeding tube, but that was not a problem for Spanish Meadows. They handled that situation very well and also removed the tube later after carefully assessing her swallowing abilities. The removal of the tube was a great success, and Mom was so relieved. Physical therapy helped her get stronger. When Mom's medication changed, a nurse always called me to keep me up-to-date.

Spanish Meadows also handled transporting Mom (via a third party) to an assisted living facility and ordering a wheelchair for her when she was discharged. We highly recommend this facility. Thank you!

Amazing staff who truly cares about their patients. My grandfather stayed here while recovering from a fall incident and the staff at Spanish Meadows took great care of him. It's rare to find a facility who treats your family like one of their own. Thank you for all you do for your patients!

The Cna's and nurses are awesome here. The cleaning crew are great too. The food is pretty good. Therpy is excellent. I would recommend these place to anybody.
