16This morning I had to speak to Ms Patrona this morning as to my storage, I've been using this storage facility at Walters Street for 2 years and each time I had to speak to Ms patrona! She was extremely helpful, and this is a consistency of hers very kind and suggestive, when it comes to handling situations I truly appreciate her! I would say to the owner she's the perfect person for their customer service thank you Ms Patrona!
Sadiki is an asset to Spare Box customer service department. He was courteous, has a friendly attitude, a good listener and knowledgeable of Spare Box policies and services. I am a very satisfied customer.

This has absolutely nothing to do with my experience with the previous owners, Self Storage and the current Manager because it was an absolute pleasure starting my journey at this storage facility with them. But once Sparebox took over and I decided to downsize one of my units to 575 due to a rent increase, it has been an absolute nightmare with the lack of service due to their customer service department. When you have to reach out to the Better Business Bureau three times to get a resolution with these ongoing issues, when does management step in to realize there is a problem and reach out to the customer? I’ve always used Sparebox’s app to make my payments and if it said I was due in August, 2023 I would have paid in August, 2023. Instead it stated I was due in September, 2023 and I paid early, so why am I being charged again for the month of September, 2023? I was told by your customer service department that unit 575 was due on August 26,2023 and yet I paid on September 14,2023 and never received a late fee and nor was I ever locked out and I have been denied an explanation about this. I never received a late fee until now and never was locked out on this unit besides a previous error from your same customer service department. I’ve called several times and could not get an answer. Called several more times to have one of the three supervisors contact me and no response. If you leave your business in the hands of customer service who lack problem solving skills and any sense of urgency, you will lose business. Im looking to get this issue resolved, I’m currently paid up on this unit and I am ready to move out of unit 575.

I was finally able to speak with Michaela *sp Supervisor in the Customer Service Department on 10/10/23 at 8: 15 am. I explained the issue with unit 575 for the seventh time and he was still unable to explain to me if that unit was due on 08/27/2023 instead of 08/26/2023 that the previous agent told me, then why didn’t I get any late fees or my unit locked out since I paid early for the month of September on 09/14/2023. He stated that it may have been a glitch in the system or I was just lucky. What does either have to do with me? I stated that it was not an answer and he confirmed that it was but I just didn’t like it. It was not facts or a definitive answer, which I’ve been waiting for since 09/26/2023. Instead he offered to send me a report. I don’t need a report. I paid for my other unit in August 2023 because it was due then but not unit 575 on your app. I asked for this to be escalated to a Manager and he said he would have to reach out to Corporate, I would have to wait for them to respond to him and then he would reach out to me yet I now have numerous late fees associated to unit 575 and it is locked out due to waiting for an explanation. I guess the glitch is fixed and to boot I was told I may be charged additional late fees for the month of August that never existed under the app hence me paying in September. It can’t be this difficult renting out storage units. Extremely poor business practices….

I have (3) SpareBox storage units in Houston. The facility is well kept. And as important, Shanice who is a Spare Box customer service staff was professionally friendly and extra helpful. Shanice is an asset to Spare Box Storage customer service.

I have been with Sparebox storage for a couple of years now, and I have to say that their customer service is absolutely incredible. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers, which is a rare quality in this day and time. So, if you are in need of a storage unit stop by a Sparebox storage location, or simply visit them on line.
Place is Very organized and efficient and Sparebox meet All my needs as far as a Storage facility. I have a extra large unit and felt really comfortable with my items there.
