SpareBox Storage, Amarillo TX

I have overall found SpareBox Storage to be very difficult to work with. I get the sense that there are no sentient humans involved in the decision making and problem solving processes.
Calls are outsourced to a customer service agency with a friendly and professional staff, to which I would give five stars. I must in particular mention Shoyan, who was very personable and who came up with a plan that could plausibly work. Sadly, though, this is the third time I've had to call about this same problem (not three occurrences of the same problem, but three phone calls regarding a single occurrence). At the end of the first first two phone calls, I believed that resolution was on the way, but neither made any difference at all, so I am not holding on to high hopes that Shoyan's efforts will be rewarded.
In this and other issues that I have needed to resolve with SpareBox, I have the sense that I am speaking with agents that, through no fault of their own, have no ability to solve problems or answer questions that cannot be handled by re-reading the contract or the company policies. Therefore, while I strongly recommend the customer service agency that answers the phone calls, I cannot recommend SpareBox as a company from which to rent storage space!

Horrible experience with customer service representative “Lee Ann”, I mentioned that I wasn’t able to make my payment online or through the phone so I asked if she could do it. And she refused.

Roshawn was very professional and polite and extremely helpful with processing my payment today.

Although I had a change of plans and did not use my storage unit I was treated with courtesy and respect. Shanice is a gem and all in all I had a very good experience. Highly recommend

I got a 5x10 and then had to upgrade due to my miss judgement, and they helped me, when I got to my unit on 8/9/23 someone's stuff was in there illegally, I called and wanted to transfer to another unit, they only wanted to refund me and make me pay for a new unit, it's not my fault someone's stuff was in my unit, I will never use them again

Pay at a kiosk trouble getting cover locks off of the units. No actual person at this business to get help when there is a problem

So, another robbery at the storage buildings. The officer said that this place is robbed weekly. The manager didn't even notify us. Just put a different lock on the door. Valuable tools and air compressor are just a few things taken. The area manager and corporate supervisor have still not called me back to find out the date and why I was not notified. Video cameras right there. But, the detective was informed that the video system was being changed so the videos were not working. Ironic huh? Change your locks! Might be an inside job!

I rent a storage unit close to Lakeside. Jesse Moreno, the manager, is awesome! He always reaches out and explained how to get in to my unit, where it was located within the storage area, and was incredibly informative to a first time user of a storage unit.

Britney was very kind and professional helping me cancel my unit. We had a very pleasant experience with SpareBox. Fantastic facilities and employees! Thank you, Britney!

Fast curtious service, rent a unit complete in 15 minutes, Sonia was fast friendly and helpful

Its a great place and im thankful to have a place to store my things. But it would be sooo much better if they would fix the elevator. Its not an easy task to carry all your belongings up and down a flight of stairs.

Had a storage locker here only a few weeks and it was broken in to. Allot of units were broken in to. Not just mine.

Unit was broken into. Filed a police report, spare box told me the soonest they could have someone from the property reach out was the next day. Avoid this place at all cost. Update: they would not allow the police to come and find inspect my unit to see what was stolen even though they had my permission. Escalated a ticket to speak with management and have still not been contacted

Called to get storage, customer service rep Shanoya help, she is a refreshing part of my day, curtious, helpful, I explained the size of unit needed she found us one on the drive up no stairs or elevator perfect for what we needed. Just a suggestion you should offer veterans discount! Thank You for being helpful!
