Species gym spring

Joke of a gym. Equipment is broken most of the time. Bathrooms are nasty. Trash cans are constantly full. The management there doesn't care for the gym. It's the ugly step child of all the species.

Love this place I love Ron, this place is amazing. No BS, everyone is here on a mission. Good vibes, love the way they run this places. I don't go often because I train/work at another gym, but when I do go I love it every time. Nothing but love here. Even though i don't go as often as i want, I keep my membership becasue they deserve the support my monthly gives them. S/O to them

Great place to workout! Staff are friendly, and they keep everything sanitized even before Covid! Also have a kids area so you don't have to find a babysitter when you want to go hit the benches!

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. This gym is garbage, run by crooks. We canceled our membership in December, they didn't cancel. It took us until April to final cancel through our bank because the management claimed they couldn't do anything more to help us. They saw our cancelation on file but couldn't take our card off draft.

It is dirty, smells of mold and the staff are rude to anyone who is not a POC.
After 2 months of trying to find administrative staff on site during the week and their posted hours, I was finally able to find someone at the desk. When I asked to cancel my account, i was snorted at then treated rudely. My friends and boyfriend who used to go there were also treated rudely by this gym.
I signed the ipad to close my account so we will see if they actually close it like they should or if they will continue to be crooks and take our money like people say.

The gym is run down and not well cared for. Dirty with broken equipment. Definitely the worst gym I've been to in years. Sad but It's the ugly step child of the Species brands.

I cannot say enough good about this place. A temple of strength and a beacon of health in a time where “body positivity” is killing the common folk.

Im into old school training so this gym provides me with the exact equipment for my goals. Rare machines that your ordinary gyms dont have. Everyone here comes to train and sweat. Definitely not a social club.

When Fred was running Species Gym Spring, there may have been some small minor inconveniences but he always made sure they were resolved as soon as he possibly can. He was cleaning the gym floor and the restrooms himself. I really commended Fred for going above and beyond to keep members happy! It was a disappointment to say the least when my husband and I found out that Fred was no longer affiliated with Species. The back part of the gym had no air flow and no working AC making it virtually impossible to workout with any high intensity or you’d find yourself gasping for air and being uncomfortably sweaty. I understand that these things take time to resolve and this is not the reason why they are receiving 2 stars. I went in to personally sign a cancellation authorization end of May 2021 and I was fine to pay the June monthly dues as I understand they require a 30 day notice. Well here we are in August and I am still being charged—I had disputed the July charges. I called to confirm my membership is cancelled last month when I first got charged and was assured it is indeed cancelled so it’s a bit funny to see an August pending transaction from them. I want to be more understanding about smaller gyms and administrative processes falling through the cracks but I was a member at another smaller warehouse gym and didn’t have the same problems cancelling with them.

An amazing gym for every level of fitness from the novice to the Olympian! Can't wait to visit all 3 locations!

Love this place! Owner is super professional and helpful and the environment is as awesome as the equipment. I've finally found my home gym.

Best gym hands down. They treat you like family. If you are looking for a gym that has everything you need to build your body to reach those stage ready goals, look no farther. Atmosphere is on point, this is my second home.

After having to part ways with our old home gym, my friends and I were forced to find a new place to train. When we went to your species, Fred welcomed ALL of us (I’m thinking close to 15 new members) and just made us feel at home right away.
Lots of equipment to chose from and SO MUCH SPACE! Species is awesome and a great place to come to lift some heavy things and blow off steam.
