Not a bad location in the area to get very good drinks! May be some layout redesign will help with the long checkout line - just an opinion

I was there today on Halloween and the staff there was amazing. The whiskey and hard liquor guy Julio was amazing. I was impressed with his knowledge. The store has a surplus of Whiskey, Scotch, Run, Wine, beer and so on. They carry some amazing Whiskey. This store has a humidor! They do not have caviar at this location. You can order online and pick up in store or you can just shop in store. See pic for selection. 4 stars because no caviar

I shop here often but this time the cashier loaded a case of wine in a box w/o dividers! What was that about? I didn't noticed until I got home and it was almost a disaster. Laziness or carelessness? Bad business!

Great selection of about any thing you might need from a liquor store. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Always friendly and ready to help. Even when the masses were pouring into the store when COVID first shut down the bars. The staff just kept everyone moving with a friendly, jovial attitude.

Every time I go in there, the same courteous, friendly young man waits on me. Nice store with good service.

This location is merely fair. There is nothing in particular positive here, and the beer selection is lacking. There's a fair variety of wine and liquor, but not a great amount.

Came in today with my husband, we are both 25 years old, all I had to do was use the restroom and they tried to ID me while he was checking out, because i was only using the restroom I didn’t bring in my wallet, they rudely refused him service until I got my ID even tho we go to this specs 3 to 4 times a week. We decided against purchasing from specs, and I went inside Best Buy liquor and purchased a crown bottle with my ID just out of spite. Now I’m a women of pride so I won’t be coming back here again, I am very disappointed with the Customer service that was desplayed today.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL I'd love to post something great because I come every other day for a 40 $ bottle of crown. Today my wife came in with me to use the bathroom and did not have her wallet, the manager rudly demanded I go find my wife in the bathroom so she can see her ID, although I am in their regularly, they still gave me a hard time. I will never shop at this specs as long as I live and I encourage anyone who likes to be treated with respect and courtesy to AVOID THIS SPECS AT ALL COSTS.

When the pressure of being a happy person gets to be too much and I need to feel what it is like to be unhappy drinks from this spot are what is in order.

Since Texas has these silly laws about not being able to order hard liquor from across state lines. Or is it ship from across state lines? I feel hemmed in and limited in what obscure booze I can obtain. Specs will occasionally fit the bill for such things.

They have an interesting system where it is less if you pay cash, and if you have a Spec's card. There are some good choices and some awful choices to be had.

Go with the higher proof.

I wish there were more stars to give! Their prices are great the selection is incredible and if they dont have it they will do their best to get it for you. I also love how they support local Texas breweries and distillers and always have someone new and local to try.

Helpful, friendly staff and there's people available to help you with questions. No need to run around trying to find someone, they're right there to help. Reasonable prices and plenty of inventory. I like this place.

I've been to several Specs. Some are good, others not so good. This one is so small with no service and long lines to checkout. I would say not so good. There are plenty of smaller shops around that would accommodate you. Support them instead of this location.

Spec's is a local store that always has good prices. This location a midsized location, not as big as ones at Jones and 290 or the central one in Midtown, but it has a great selection of alcohol and many different craft beers to try. Remember to bring cash or a debit card for an additional discount.

Staff is always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The selection is pretty good, and if they don't have something they can likely get it. Prices can't be beat either.
