Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods reviews
16Place is great and has a very wide selection but if ypu are still trying to use curbside they are getting flaky and not getting the notification
The first guy was a bit rude when I was asking him where something is. I can maneuver very well for being blind/vision impaired (I use my hearing more to figure out where things are). Well I asked him where something was a d he pointed and said over there. Maybe he did not see my guide dog but in a customer service role, you should say or offer to take me and show me as an upsellinh point as well. So I said do you know how far down I go hecause I'm blind/vision impaired. He said oh then follow me. He got up from the computer and showed me but just said it starts right here. Then he walked away. As I was trying to find what I wanted another employee asked did I need help and I asked her for what I was looking for. Well they did not have it, which is fine. She then said if you need anymore help let me know.
Specs is in fact "the place". I almost always find what I am looking for, and if not, they order it for me! So nice and helpful.
The Deli @ Spec's is delectable.
Many choices of fresh salads, meal choices, such a meatloaf or country ribs.
My choice was sandwiche? & wrap + choice of several salads or desserts.
Drum roll please.
All for the price of $5.25!
Just pretty awesome and delicious and healthy, courteous, fast service.
I don't drink, but this store has so much more. I go once a week and get groceries and drinks you can't find. The prices are just right. 's up
We had an amazing experience working with the wine specialist, Rick, at this Spec's location. We ordered all of our wedding alcohol with them, and Rick provided fantastic and caring advice about what to purchase and how much. He was also amazingly responsive and on top of the order for us so that we would have nothing to worry about. The fact that they deliver for a nominal fee gives them a huge edge over their competition! We recommend this Spec's location and Rick to everyone! Thank you again for all you did to make our reception a success.
I visit this store 2-3 times a week. There are 2-3 decent cashiers. There are two that stand out in the worst way. Not sure of any names but there have been several times that I have checked out and got nothing but attitude. One girl looks like a man in the face and wears raggedy stale wigs with false eyelashes. Her attitude is disgusting and there’s no way she should have a job where she is required to interact with customers. There is another cashier who is very large and leans over the counter on her phone. She is extremely rude with no customer service skills. Whenever I see them in the front I avoid checking out with them. I’ve been coming to this store for years and I’m pleased with the changes being made. The management team has changed and I love it! Shoutout to Todd who always goes above and beyond. He is definitely the reason I keep coming back. My rating is not for the store itself but for the poor customer service from these cashiers. I will be contacting corporate about the two rude cashiers.
Great people, great prices, great selection! I love to go to Specs and ‘window shop’ before deciding. I love the aisle with all the tiny bottles! Gives me the chance to try out a bunch of new things before I commit to buying a large bottle. Also, great cheese selection!
As always, everytime time i go they help to find the product. Always polite. Conpetitives prices, well stocked! Overall exellent service.
The offerings at the Spec's stores are 2nd to none! If you can't find what you are looking for in the realm of sweets, beer, wine, liquor at this store chain, it may not be available anywhere else. We always find what we need and then some at Spec's. The food offerings are just as great- if you can't make up your mind, ask a store associate and they will get you hooked up. Whether at home or out of town, Spec's is the go-to place to get oneself "right" in the head.
They have a large variety of most liquors & beer also other nonalcoholic drinks like Clearly Canadian prices are decent. There's also a Deli inside & a lot of bar accessories.
Customer service is awful, you ask them for help and they feel bothered or give you attitude. The wine guy is great older gentleman. Nothing is alphabetize when you are in a section. The cashiers attitude. Why isn’t anything alphabetize I mean I see employees just standing around talking to the shot lady. HORRIBLE
Only one cashier available which was totally dumb because we all know people come in a lot especially when it is almost the new year to purchase large quantities of alcohol.
If you can't find it here, then odds are they don't have it anywhere. Great selection, very good staff. They know just about everything, just ask. We go every time we are in Austin. Very heavy suitcase flying out of Austin.:)
This is the best specs I've ever been to. The people are so kind and down to earth. I drive to no other specs but this one. If you want good liquor and good service, bro just come here lol
Awesome wine selection, however poor staff and service lead me to want to shop elsewhere. I crossed paths with several staff members and not a single one greeted me or offered assistance. When I went to check out, the two front end ladies were too involved in their conversation that I had to ask which one I could check out with after they rolled their eyes at me like I was interrupting their day.
