Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods, Galveston TX

I always have a great experience coming here to purchase alcohol. They have a great selection of beer, wines, and liquor. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly too.

Nice place. Big selection Cashier was friendly but there was a lady sitting apart from the registers at a little table and I asked her a polite question and she wanted to talk down to me. She had a horrible snotty attitude. Horrible.

Just stopped in for a quick bottle, the store was very disorganized. The employees you had to search for to find help, when we did find help and asked if the man worked there he was very rude and pointed at his shirt to point out he did work there, a simple yes or how may I help you would have been nice but instead he acted rude

Great selecion and on top of that great customer service. I didn't get the name of the guy that helped me find the bottle of Caymus I was looking for, but he was very knowledable and ended up discussing a few more cabs and talking about them as well.

The island hot-spot to get your booze on in preparation for a weekend full of idiot tourists who don't know how to parallel park or execute a U-turn. You will see a lot of regulars here.

They had the beer but not cold bud light cases they told us we could buy 12 packs for more money so I didn't buy anything that I already had in my cart

I guess everything is bigger in Texas. There was a huge selection and the staff was nice helping me find what I was looking for, definitely would make it a first stop for your booze needs.

This place is huge! The selection is quite impressive. Prices are just ok but the sheer number of choices alone makes this store worth a visit!

This Specs is a tourist trap and they know it. I can buy the same items in other Specs and it will less expensive and give the discounts that are advertised. Such a shame for the locals.

There are some things they have in Houston that aren't carried here, but not much. The employees are very helpful. Tastings are a nice surprise every now and then. The selection is nice and I can usually find something new when I just go in to browse. Today's trip didn't disappoint.

It's way more than just a liquor store. Spec's has a huge selection of snacks, mixing supplies (including hardware), and cigars. In fact, the prices for their cigars completely outmatch pretty much any other tobacco vendor I've seen yet!

The ultimate selection in spirits, hosting, and bar supplies. Found many rare selections and upscale drink ingredients available. Most certainly recommend.

About 75% of the time I stop there they are out of the liter of High Ridge. Definitely should have back stock if they sell that much

Left store empty handed because the cashier had to go do something. Had item on counter and another person came and turned off light and said they would be right back. Needless to say no one came back while there were plenty of people around talking at checkout. Eventually someone said I probably should get my item and move to another register. Didn't seem to matter even with a manager near by. Decided to take business else where.

Hayden is Awesome I had a VIP Guest that I told him about and he picked out an outstanding wine and helped lock in my guest he was impressed and he hand picks my wines for my bar and always gives you the best bang for your buck at least once a day someone ask me where did I get this wine and of course I send them to speak with hayden. I know he will treat every request with the utmost respect store is huge just look for hayden he really knows his wines Thank you Hayden for all your help and your knowledge of fine wines and always going that extra mile

Instead of looking something up or figuring out a new price when my product didn’t pop up on the register they just asked me if I still wanted it. Also one guy on floor helped me when I approached him but told me if I need help next time to ask the register. (Night shift) I’m not too mad though because at register they packaged everything nicely for me at and even helped me save money by telling me 5% off for debit tip which was appreciated. Store was clean and stocked. They did have a gin to try when I came in which was fun
