Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods reviews
18Love this place. Alway helpful and they have insights on deferment drinks. They will always have my business
Whoever the dude with the long hair and glasses is an unpleasant little fella. Always has a bad attitude.
Go to the other Specs in town, it's worth it solely due to the people who work there. Oh my, this Spec's location has the LAZIEST employees in the world and are totally unwilling to help out at the register. Rude, lazy manager who would rather make her coffee than help people. Rude, incompetent cashier who can't ring you up correctly and sits there helpless waiting on someone to come void an item. While there was another register open and was just being used, they refused to just use that one. Granted she was also like 90 years old but the bad attitude and the unwillingness to do anything to help was pathetic. Keep in mind, I came here at 10am on a Friday, so it's probably not the A Crew but wow. Never coming back here again.
Worst experience.
The cashiers service need to be more Kind. I went to the store in two different times. And the actitud was so unfriendly.
We've gone to Spec's for a long time. So, when this location opened years ago we were pleased. Thankfully, the location has a good staff most of the time. This location has bulk bean coffee you can purchase where we get one of our favorite flavors whenever it is in stock. (So many people love it, it is hard for any location to keep it stock!)
There is a huge wine selection so you can spend more time than you realize making a decision even with a staff member's assistance. The liquor is quite large. This is great when you prefer certain brands versus what smaller locations may keep. Plus, they can attempt to order you something if they do not have it in stock.
I'm just happy I don't have to drive to San Antonio/Selma or Austin to reach this type of liquor store now.
Really bad customer service. New to the area so had never been to these. After two visits to the one near us in NB, I can say that you have to go out of your way to get help from the employees. They don’t walk up and ask if they can help you. You have to find them. I find that strange.
We visit this location often. They always have a great selection, wide variety, and whatever I'm looking for is always easy to find and in stock. The customer service is always great. Staff is friendly and helpful. I pass 3-4 other liquor stores to go to Specs.
Horrible customer service! Ordered an online order of over $500 worth via their app. Turns out they only had 1 item in stock and can’t reverse the $80 worth of tips and fees! Twin liquors came through and offered me a discount for their troubles! Support twin liquors over specs any day!
Spec's 106 at Creekside was awesome. Great folks and had everything I needed for the holidays
Great costumer service, amazing wine selection, and every spirit plus some one could ask for, plus barware, food, and international options abound.
More allocated spirits delivered to SPECS than anyplace in Texas. But still not available.
We always get great customer service and always an abundance of choices. Great prices and very comparable to other local markets.
Always a good place to shop for liquor and sundries. Friendly, helpful staff. Good prices.
The employees are so helpful and pleased you are the in the store. You don't see that of much any more.
Thank you for your great customer service skills!
A different kind of review, but I didn’t catch the guy’s name. Regardless, I usually shop at this location a couple of times a week, and picked up my visiting friend and cousin from their hotel with the intent to just kickback at my house. They forgot their stuff at the hotel, but I figured since I’m buying it wouldn’t matter. It did. Still, as frustrating as it initially was (because trust me, I was not trying to drive all the way back to their hotel with the way gas prices are), and despite his initial demeanor, the cashier was overall polite, explained the store policy, and just kind of explained without being rude or anything. (Which can be a P. I. T. A.these days in customer service depending on the customer) I wanted to say he handled everything well and maintained great integrity even seemingly being the only one on registers at the time! As usual, always enjoy shopping here (even if I didn’t get anything this time)!
Person in front of me obviously looked younger than me. Yet was not I'd. Me. Tons of tattoos and piercings. And Grey hair. Was I'd. Illegal practice
Went in for a birthday gift and was assisted by a nice gentleman that offered so much information on whiskey and bourbon.
The cashier at the location would not sell me NON-ALCHOLIC items, even though I had an ID and I am 27 years old. All because I walked in with someone who didn’t have an ID. (they were 40) I will never waste my money at this place again. Kids don’t even know TABC rules.
