11Has a lot of water access. Showers have more privacy than most campgrounds I've been to. Road construction has the main road in blocked off but there's a somewhat confusing detour that takes you through a privately owned campground and marina to get there. Nice campground though.
Had a good time camping! Our spot came with electric, water (don’t know if it was potable), trash hook, and a pavilion with dining table. It was pretty quiet, overall good experience! The shore was not the most walkable, there were lots of sticks sticking up from the ground. The bathrooms were stocked with TP, but no hand soap. The shower rooms did not seem functional. Shower heads missing, shower switches missing, some doors did not have locks. Most people come in a camper, so I suppose you might not need these, but for those without their own bathrooms, those are things to consider!
A very beautiful campground lawn and landscape kept manicured BUT RESTROOMS ARE AWFUL! Not worth $28 /night! I cringe and do NOT want to use the restrooms/showers because they are so gross.
Some major repairs are necessary. Sweating or leaking toilets have puddles around them, beetles and flying things are everywhere including on, in and around toilets, dirty walls, sweating walls, no ventilation. One shower is missing the door another is missing the plumbing. A rock holds the door closed to the Ladies! Missing pieces of cement floor expose rebar, so watch your step! And don't slip in the puddles. The toilets and sinks may be cleaned but it is still gross! One can hope they have plans to renovate.
Loved this place! So relaxing and peaceful. If I am ever in the are again, I will gladly pick here to come to.
This is actually a 5 star for the park and 1 star for the bathrooms
This is a fairly small campground, so there is only one bathroom building. In that building, there were a total of 6 showers of which only 2 were working.
The bathrooms are dirty and needs lots of maintenance.
Some are missing the whole door.
Some are missing the handles or locks.
Some don't have water coming out of the shower head.
So in summary, only 2 showers worked during our 3 day stay.
The lake is awesome. Very nice and easy access to the lake.
Quieter campground, boat ramp is protected from the wind. Lots of wildlife. Just take your time on the road coming in full of potholes.
Very nice and clean. Very quiet setting would stay there again. Owners are very friendly laundry room clean and family type atmosphere
Nice campground with great boat ramp. Plenty of parking at the boat ramp and there is ample room to turn with a trailer.
If the contractors are mowing you better move. We had the entire side of our motor home destroyed here by rock chips. Neither the Corps of Engineers or the contractors care. It actually appeared they took pleasure in wrecking the side of our RV. What comes around goes around.
We had a fabulous time on Waco lake. The campgrounds were very clean. The most important was that the bathrooms were well taken care of.
Camp grounds were great restrooms needed a lil repairs shower heads were broken need replacing lock on doors not working.great weekend
