Spencer Animal Hospital, Pasadena TX

My cat had passed away and used them to have him cremated. And they were the sweetest. I was crying so bad when I took him and they were so caring.

Update: Recently I am moving my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars because every year they refuse to refill my heartworm medication. They did this last time so I had our reproductive clinic refill our medication because they simply wanted us to come in to charge us for the HW test despite we have a regular subscription through Chewy. My repro vet refilled heartgard without hesitation but Spencer Animal did not. I brought my dog in for her spay, a biopsy on a growth to be sent to the lab etc and spent $1,000+ and in there included she needed her microchip checked for location and a hw test done so that she can continue through Chewy. They apparently failed to follow my request and list provided. So, again, it was refused. For the second year. Because of this, I am pretty annoyed and may discontinue going to this clinic altogether over principle especially because I spend thousands at the vet each year.

Previously: We love our vet! We have all of our dogs go here and have for a few years since moving here. I recommend this clinic for my clients as I am a certified professional dog trainer and AKC ethical preservation breeder.

Best vet clinic I’ve ever been to. They have different waiting areas for cat and dog owners. This is very smart and sweet, which I don’t see elsewhere. All front desk staff were nice and friendly. The doctor and his staff too were kind and caring. They also do grooming, which is very convenient. The clinic and grooming place are clean and smell good. Price is reasonable. I have nothing to complain. I’ll definitely come back.

I had my pup chipped there and this was all new to me. Staff was very friendly and answered every question my 14 year old and I had. We asked many many questions too. Very clean and they even had snacks out for the pets.

Wonderful doctor and staff. I had gotten my dates mixed up and came for my appointment a day early. I was very fortunate that the doctor saw us anyway.

Always clean and very nice. The best employee's. Wouldn't take my baby to any other place.

GREEEAT stay. I absolutely love these guys. They saw my baby when his current doctor was too busy and they were going to make me sit. My little furry friend life companion was paralyzed from the waist down he had ruptured something in his spine they saw me right away referred me to a specialist he had back surgery and 17 Staples later learned how to walk and he's back on all four feet! I couldn't have been happier!

I went there today For the first time. My dog got a hold of IB pro friend so I called Deer Park Clinic where my dog goes and was told they were too busy.in a panic I called Spencer animal clinic they told me to come right down I got their girls at the front desk are really nice and sweet they took my dog back immediately did what I needed to do came out tell me all I needed to do and take him home I believe he’s good he’s not doing much but I think because he had a shot and I gave him some stuff to throw up so he doesn’t feel well Thank you Spencer animal hospital

Staff is amazing.prices very affordable.and they don't push stuff you don't need!

The wonderful staff and veterinarians who work at Spencer Animal Hospital really care about your pets, so it's worth the cost, which may be a little higher than some other vets.

This hospital is wonderful, Dr. Simon specially is compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. Cynthia at the front desk is friendly and so empathetic regardless of the type of visit you have. While this hospital is pricier than others in the area, you get what you pay for.

Absolutely love them here. We have new puppies and had long time clients at VCA but everything has changed there and we did not feel like they truly cared. Spencer Animal Hosp.treats you and your pets like family and gives you a feeling that they truly are there for you. Thank you for the easy change and for the loving care you have shown us.

Speaking from our experience, great service from ladies up front, loved the tips & information the vet tech gave me for our new puppy & appreciated the patience the doc had to answer all our questions.
