Splashway Water Park, Sheridan TX

My wife and I heard about the park from a neighbor and decided to check it out. We camped in our rv. We went in October and got to see all the little kids dressed up for Halloween and watched them trick or treat. Kids were everywhere and the energy in the air was fantastic. We ate at the onsite restaurant, watched the Astros play ball on TV and afterwards watched some live music under the stars. I will definitely be a returning customer.

The spashway is totally amazing I go to a lot of RV parks cuz I work on RVs this one beats out all the big ones and they're constantly putting new things in lots of RV spaces pull throughs lots of cabins the water park is amazing the bathrooms are incredible they're like in a five-star hotel best place in this area to go with your family and to get cooled off so many things to do full restaurant a lake trampolines all over outdoor movie theater miniature golf and that's just only to mention a few also every year they put in a new water park attraction good place thank you. We have been to the water park and have camped with our RV, its a great park all around for the whole family. Highly recommended.

We experienced a few issues during our stay at the campground cabin as well as at the waterpark but it’s the way it was handled that made me give 5 full stars. It’s not the issues that may arise but how a company handles them.

Our cabin shower broke the first night we were there. The water would not turn off. It just kept running. They had to shut our water off completely until they could find a part the next evening. We had no water but could go outside to turn it off and on if need be but definitely no hot water during that time. We had to drive to the front to take a shower. We were given a golf cart rental at no charge for the inconvenience, which we very much appreciated. You will need one here. This place is huge!

At the waterpark, we were given a cabana that was not in the area we reserved it in. We tried to make it work but It was covered in love bugs and the screen nets weren’t helping and just not ideal. When we addressed the issue, we were given an upgraded cabana at no charge in a much more convenient location.

The customer service here is amazing and the reason we did not let the issues we experienced detour us from having a good time, or returning. We will be back! I will list some pros and cons below but thank you Kendall, Matt and that nice guy at the waterpark, I think his name was Steve?

Pros: There are so many activities. We came during the fall so there was a pumpkin planting, haunted house, monster laser tag, Halloween, kid friendly movies by the water, putt putt golf, costume contests, s’mores night, all kinds of things to do! They text you with the activities for the day. The customer service is amazing! There’s a fire pit at every site, along with dishes and a full kitchen in every cabin. Dogs are allowed. There’s Christian, kid friendly music playing everywhere. Most of the staff and guests are very friendly.

Cons: the value. Almost nothing is included with the cabin rental. We paid over 600 for the weekend and the putt putt golf is extra, the waterpark is extra, the haunted house is extra, 20 per ticket, the laser tag was extra, paddle boards, extra, if you don’t have a season pass you pay a bit extra for everything. Just seems like some kind of benefits should come with the cabin rental for the price. The only thing this place is missing is a swimming hole. It was pretty hot and the only way to cool the kids down and swim is at the waterpark which of course is 30-40 per person, per day. There is a body of water for the paddle boards but there are signs saying that swimming there is “not recommended. ”

Overall we had a pretty great time here. Aside from some issues that were handled amazingly. You will have a great time here but you will spend a lot too if you want the full experience.

Spent $500 on passes for my family and the day we went half of the park was shut down do to staffing issues. The camp ground next door was really cool though.the water park not so much.

It was awesome but the highest number of off leash dogs I have even seen in one park! One guy was showing off how trained his dogs were! He left me standing at the dog park waiting for 20 min until his dog show was over! I have two miniature schnauzers one is perfect one unpredictable…. He is very protective of me! If your dog comes near me he may attack him! Just keep your dogs on a leash or tie out for the love of God!

This place has grown in leaps in bounds these passed few years. Continue the process and improvements. Park was clean and safe.

Great place to take the family. There are so many things to do. We love the wave pool and lazy river. The rides are fun but can have a line. The food is delicious as well. The only thing I dislike is the texture of their pavement. It can be rough on your feet.

Loved this waterpark. It was clean and great place for the kids. We are definitely making this an annual family vacation.

Great family place and the good thing about it you can bring your own food and drinks to help save a little money water park is not too big and it’s not too small it’s perfect for families, and kids and the keep the place clean And well taken care of they even have barbecue pits 5 star always

Fantastic waterpark to go to. Very family oriented. Very friendly. Lifeguards everywhere doing there job. Very clean. Highly, highly recommend this place. A+

This place is awesome to stay and play. We were here with family for a week and enjoyed it all. The Waterpark had many things for all ages. I would say this is the best and cleanest Waterpark I have been to. I have a 2,5 and 13 year old and there was many things for all of them to do. Had play area for the 2 and 5 year old that allowed both of them to play freely. Will be going here yearly at least.

We had a fantastic day! We drive from Houston to go to splash way bc we love the park! Plenty of tables and lines were not too long. My kids can ride every slide and my baby enjoyed the kiddy area. Definitely the highlight of our summer

Searched the whole sight read all rules and everything yet only thing shows is height limits it's cruel and mean to have scales at each ride saying there is a weight limit and embarrass your customers. Will not recommend this place to anyone it's not right at least have the freaking sight show there is a weight limit next to height limit! It was a waste of money and time!

Grandkids loved the place, although short staffed. You can take in your own food and drinks, so that cuts down on costs. Will go back soon!

It's a cool park, nice crowd. Go in even numbers because most rides are 2 or 4 riders, very few single person slides. Supposed to change next year with 4 more slides, 3 of which will be single riders. It's hard to find an extra because they all get in line in pairs

We really enjoyed our first time at Splashway. The kids had a great time, it wasn’t overly crowded, and no long waits in line.

Everything is good. The expierence was great and the prices were decent too. The only complaint is the attractions lacked a theme to them.

One of the best water park experiences I've had. My family went on a Friday and there was barely any lines for any of the attractions. This is a gem in the middle of nowhere! They often have great discounts online too with lunch included in the ticket price.
