Splendid Oaks Chocolates & Ice Cream, Waco TX

This is absolutely the best ice cream in town! And I've tried pretty much everywhere. Their chocolate's also good, really high quality, but I honestly just go here whenever I feel like some ice cream and it never disapoints.

Not a huge selection of chocolates- almost all truffles. That being said, the ones that I tried tasted great and all of the varieties were beautiful. Would make a great gift! I didn't try the ice cream, so I can't speak to that. A little pricey - $22 for a box of 8. The packaging is super cute.

I got a chocolate ice cream and box of 8 chocolates I tried the chocolate ice cream AND IT WAS AMAZING. This was the best chocolate ice cream I ever had. I haven't tried the chocolates but I have high hopes for it.

Stopped in twice on a recent trip to Waco. The staff were very kind and helpful in making selections. The chocolates are incredible. The ice cream though we were warned that they were changing and this was the first batch made in house. I am not sure why they put that out as a caveat as it was the BEST ice cream we have had. The texture was custard like. It was dense, crabby, and rich. The flavors we tried were all spot on and delicious. Highly recommend stopping in for some of the best yumminess around.

Their PB&J and whiskey cinnamon roll chocolates are amazing. The cookies and cream ice cream they started making in Woodway is so delicious too

A real treasure of Waco, filled with chocolate treasures! So grateful we have a place like this with such high quality chocolates. Haven’t had the ice cream but I’m sure it’s amazing, too.

Went in with my mom a little before closing, and it was awesome! The folks running the place were incredibly kind, and told us all about the chocolates. The place is pricy, but worth it in every way. Probably the best chocolate I've ever had, and that is saying something.

We were actually traveling and decided to side trip here. We purchased 8 of these jewels. And purchased two icecream shakes. I wish we could have these shipped. We will most certainly be back.

My husband and I LOVE Splendid Oaks! We don’t live in Waco but anytime, and I mean ANYTIME, we are in Waco we *know* we are making a stop for some ice cream. It is truly my favorite ice cream in the whole world!

Wow. I've eyeballed this place for so long and was completely taken back when I finally decided to stop in! I had no idea chocolate like this even existed. The ladies working the counter were informative and super friendly! I absolutely adore the craftsmanship that goes into these little edible jewels. Yes they're expensive! But get the 4 pack! Must try! My favorite this time was the Pecan Praline. We also tried a scoop of ice cream.nothing you get here would disappoint!

Fantastic place. Awesome chocolates and great icecreams. The icecream platter is fantastic.

My scoop of caramel macchiato disappeared before it occurred to me to take a picture, but it was yummy and had caramel chunks.

Bonus: dogs on leashes allowed indoors.

This place is. The service was quick and super helpful. It takes FOUR DAYS to make this chocolate. Gotta respect the grind! My wife and I tried Slendid Oaks out one night after eating at neighboring Milo. We did an 8 pack, and I wish I could remember what all we got, but alas, I can not. IT WAS SO GOOD. I felt super fancy, too! I will return!

Beautiful chocolates but honestly only enjoyed the dark chocolates, liquor infused, and matcha ones. The fruit infused ones tasted like fake candy flavors. Personally I like fine chocolate, unfortunately I only like 6/16 i tried. Appreciate the 15% discount for reusing the box though.

Fantastic chocolates and they include some vegan options (raspberry, hazelnut, banana walnut caramel, and more depending on what they have available) so everyone in your group can find something they will enjoy. This place is why we make pit stops in Waco while breaking up a long drive. I am personally obsessed with their pistachio chocolate and their apple pie chocolate. They also have a great sales program so you can get 10% off your next purchase when you bring in one of their chocolate boxes to reuse. This is the best thing in Waco.

Great variety of ice cream and chocolates. Enjoyed the sampler of ice cream the best. Would definitely go back.
