Sports City Cafe Mesquite, TX

Southern style bar food. Wide variety of foods from pizza and wings to ribeye and loaded mashed potatoes. Drinks are strong but good. Service can be a little slow. It's a large space inside, plus pool tables.

I was here with a friend on May 3rd around 11ish pm and our server, Alexandra, was so nice! She was extremely patient and understanding even when we were being admittedly a bit difficult. I feel like if we had any other server that night our experience wouldnt have been as good.the food was so tasty and we were overall very pleased with our experience.

Drink and food was good! DJ started late.
We went on Friday.
What I didn’t appreciate was the bunch of young people outside the bar asking if we needed tender meat. They were following to our vehicles and that was scary!
Be aware of theme if you are alone!

While eating out with friends I saw something moving in the corner of my eye and it was indeed a roach. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars instead of one is because our server Sulin was amazing and personable and really tried to meet our needs.

Probably the best place to come to for bar fun in mesquite. Dj is always playing new, upbeat songs, food is amazing, and staff treats your like friends. Also the manager, Joey if I remember correctly, was very caring. He noticed my water was half full and quickly refilled it while asking about our night.

This was a good sports bar. The food was good and the staff were very nice. They played good music and had a good hag out vibe.

Nice place to go have a drink and eat, friendly staff, clean place, not enough pool tables though for I like to shoot pool sometimes but overall I enjoyed the experience.

Absolutely love love this place. My very first experience with a karaoke bar it's a pleasant environment and service is so quick and friendly

ROACH! I was having a late night date with my boyfriend everything was going fine for about 30-1 hour until our food arrived.got a couple bites down and A ROACH immediately crawled from out of hiding right across our table and up to our plates of course we jumped up are requested to leave immediately, they were nice & didn’t require any payment for the food so we paid for our waitress services and left. NEVER coming back. A place this size with such success should be paying the best of the best exterminators WEEKLY for extensive extermination/cleaning.no exceptions!

My waitress with long locs n glasses was so beautiful friendly professional and attentive, service was very quick they need to definitely repair the bar seats tho

We used their parking lot for a 3 wheel Mc show. They were very accommodating. Also ate inside the service was good and the food was hot, good quality and nice portions. Clean bathrooms. Good service.

Waitress made many mistakes. However, she was friendly and probably overworked as most. The food was good and I love the atmosphere there. TVs everywhere. We will definitely be back.

Came In to meet co workers n they were complaining about how nasty the food was glad I was running late NEVER TO RETURN UNLESS I'M JUST HAVING DRINKS

Several years back this use to be a popular place to go. Now it's old, out dated, tables are old, carpet smells gross. Food is ok, price is ok serving size are decent. It was like a ghost town, so service was ok. I know appearance matters and the waitresses were not dressed well in my opinion. I do hope they make updates to this place because I don't see it lasting much longer.
