Spring Creek Barbeque, Mesquite TX

Add baked beans and regular green beans as options, seemed expensive for what you get. Price doesn't match taste of food.

The server on the block his name is Eligió in the Mesquite Tx. Eligio was very nasty with me when I ask for ribs with no barbecue, he still giving me the ones with barbecue sauce on it and I have to return them because besides of the barbecue they taste like they were cook a day before and when I returned a week later he was very mad at me and told me about I returned the ribs and told me he send the same ones anyways and throw the Plate to me, always talk with a very bad actitud to us my friends and myself. I know I’m not the only one with that problem and still the company does not do anything about it because if you call to the corporation the guy who answers the phone it’s his friend or family on the other side Mary the lady who serve the fresh bread it’s the most sweet and nice person always trying to make us feel welcome we still going there just because her,
I hope the owners do something about the guy Eligio he’s running the customers out of that restaurant,

My last visit I was not pleased when I got home my sandwich brisket was hard and overcooked. It took awhile to prepare my order only because I ordered french fries, that they gave to a dine-in guest that came in after me and another guess received their to go order before mines, I had to go and asked about my order, I think they forgot about my order

Came to celebrate Father's day here since my dad loved coming here but it's been a few years since he has came to have dinner here. The ribs where hard not soft at all they look like it's been cooked from 3 days ago, it looks in the pictures but honey we just took it all and gave it to a homeless so it won't go to trash. But thinks twice before coming the food is not delicious like it used to be

I don’t understand how this place has 4 stars and none of the bad reviews are about how disgusting it is! First, when you walk in there’s sooooo much trash on the floor. Then the employees give you your sides in dirty bowls, their hair isn’t in nets and not even fully tied up, and to top it off the cups they leave out there for drinks are all dirty. We had to leave our 5 trays there full of food because I couldn’t bare to even think about eating there. First and last time coming here!

Enjoy coming here. I love the openness feel of the restaurant. Everyone from customers to employees are very friendly. I world of given 5 stars if it wasn't for the consistent chilling experience I have here. The A/C feels great, but the ceiling fans over do it! I forget that I need to take my food to go versus eating here! Yeah, my food gets cold quickly! I enjoy eating my marbelized brisket soft, not cold and hard ya'll. But the Mac & cheese was great!? Thank you for being open on the 4th.

The bbq was great. Point to remember for next time is to not order carryout on a busy Sunday afternoon. Took a few trys to get the whole order bagged and out the door. The staff tried very hard to make it right.

Rolls are always burnt and always the guy who cuts brisket always gives me such a small portion he doesn’t know how to cut. Also I ate my entire meal and including an entire basket of fried okra and at the end of my meal the girl decided to hand out rolls then and yet again they’re burnt they have always been burnt when I come here.

Very tasty, chicken was very tender and juicy, great flavor. Great and friendly service. BUT: Expensive! 8 bucks for a potato?

Canceled my order when I saw a employee scratch his head then open my baked potato with out washing his hands plus No One WAS WEARING A HAT. Not going to chance getting sick from employee.

Peppered Sauage was terrific make sure you get the sweet BBQ sauce for the ribs. You have to ask for it as they keep it behind the counter.

My first visit post-Covid had these results:
Prices have soared to unacceptable level
No more veggie refills
Veggies are limited to 2 and handed to you in a small container rather than allowing customer to get their own
Had to wait 15-20 minutes for dinner rolls to arrive at our table resulting in cold food
After arriving home, saw that our party had been overcharged

I wrote a letter to the owner/manager about all the above, and asked for the amount of the overcharge to be sent to me. 2 months later and haven't heard squat. Suffice it to say I will never go back.

Quality of food has changed for the worse in the last couple of years (with a huge price increase). Watered down sauce, sliced beef was extremely full of fat, and to top it off, they've decreased the size of their dinner rolls. What used to be an awesome mini loaf of bread is now just a plain old roll.nothing special about it. Compare my roll photo to the restaurant's and you'll see what I mean. For this price I'll be looking for a mom and pop BBQ joint to support instead of this chain restaraunt.

Barbecue is average Texas Barbecue but the prices have dramatically increased. The biggest difference now is that they went from self serving to line serving, so you are limited on serving size. Staff was friendly but seemed confused about menu items and pricing. Family friendly.

Horrible! Meat was chilled like they got it out of the refrigerator. The brisket was all fat. We ordered fried okra and 3/4 the way thru our meal they still hadn't brought it to our table so I had to go get it. Only thing worth eating was the rolls. Will not be going back

My husband and I were not happy. We both got a sandwich with 2sides. The buns were very hard. Could not eat them. We were sick all evening.

Pretty good BBQ nothing special. Not what I remembered from the last visit but understand things have changed quite a bit since then.
