SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine reviews
8I'm here on business, and I've been killing roaches since I checked in. My colleague has switched rooms as well due to roaches.
This was NOT a planned stay. Marsha at the front desk was so helpful and was able to find me a bed after being stranded in Dallas. So nice not to sleep on the airport floor. Room was clean and just what I needed after a very long day of delayed and cancelled flights.
Staff is amazing. Marsha was incredibly friendly and took very good care of my wife. Excellent example of Marriott service.
We used 36000 points to stay one night, the front desk assigned us the room with giant AC unit outside window. It was extremely noisy.
I'm sure the stay would of been better if the neighbors wasn't allowing their kids slam the door and run up and down the hall all morning long!
The beds were small, expected queen size. The breakfast I don’t know what they were serving us but it wasn’t sausage. The waffles were pre made and were pretty sweet.
As for the location, it's probably the best hotel in the Grapevine Mills area. As for the quality of the rooms, I would rather sleep in a van down by the river than stay in one of these rooms. I found it almost impossible to sleep with the amount of light that was coming through the cracks of the door. When you have all the lights off in the room, it looks like someone's taking a mig welder and cutting out the door from the outside (see pic). I had to go buy some sleep aids just to fall asleep. This place would probably work for travel ball teams, but if you're a business person that needs good sleep at night for your big day the next morning, then stay clear of this hotel.
Only there for one short night, but clean and comfortable beds. Close to airport and free shuttle at 4am.
