The and hotel staff were excellent. We arrived two hours before check in and were able to check in immediately without a hassle. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were clean and modern. The lobby was welcoming and had nice, varied seating options for relaxing.

I had to do an extended stay and the entire staff was amazing. From the housekeepers to the front desk.

Staff was great, two rooms had roaches and one wasn't cleaned properly. Three stars for staff, however I won't stay here in the future.

Staff and room were great! However, there was 1 elevator and it was super slow (dad had mobility issues and can't take stairs.) Guests upstairs from us were loud. A lot of young guests (teens/early 20's) just hanging out in the evenings. Gym had 1 treadmill and 2 sets of dumbbells, so we couldn't workout. Stay was decent, but wouldn't stay here again.

Cleveland went over and beyond for us. He was excellent to work with. (I never really write reviews) but I felt like he deserved one. Only because of him, did we decide to stay extra nights. Thank you.

This place is an overpriced motel. Pool is filthy, so gross! The 1st room smelled like mildew so bad we had to have it switched, second room was a bit better but walls are so thin, I could hear neighbors TV, upstairs kids, people in hallway and breakfast was almost non existent. Not worth it.

Cleveland was absolutely over and beyond! I don’t normally write reviews and I always see negative ones but I tell you what Mr Cleveland’s customer service was so welcoming and awesome. I’m in the business of sales and on reviews and this man deserves it!

The rooms are shaped wierd makes you feel squeezed in, besides that its a typical hotel. Didnt expect anything grand and grand i didn't get.

Stay 5/22/2021-5/25/2021
This review covers 4 rooms as my family traveled to Houston, TX to celebrate my nephew's high school graduation.

1st Issue: When we checked in, we were told we were under the explorer program rate as a family member is a Marriott employee and made our reservations. However, at check out, they refused to honor the explorer program rate on all 4 rooms and 3 rooms were charged the regular rate. No one notified us at check-in or during our stay that they would not honor the explorer program rate on all the rooms.

2nd issue: I stayed in room 327 the 1st night and then room 317 the remaining nights. The 1st night, around 11: 30 p.m, when I was preparing to get in bed, I discovered bloodstains on the blanket covers and bed bugs in the bed. Initially, I did not know they were bed bugs, I thought they were spiders. I took pictures of what I thought to be spiders and the bloodstains on the blanket covers. Immediately, I called downstairs to the front desk from the room telephone. I let the telephone ring for almost 15 minutes and there was no answer. I then changed from my pajamas to casual clothes and went downstairs. There was no one at the desk. Using a business card displayed at the front desk, I called the hotel number from my cell phone. I heard the phone ringing; however, no one came out to answer it. I stood at the front desk for almost 10 minutes when the front desk associate walked into the hotel from outside. I relayed what I found in the bed and on the blanket covers. The front desk associate stated all he could offer was to change the sheets. I asked if he would send housekeeping up to change the sheets. He stated he was the only associate at work and told me to change them myself. He stated he did not have any other rooms available to change me to. He gave me a set of clean sheets. I asked him to also give me clean blanket covers. He stated they were out of blanket covers. No apology, no empathy, no promise to contact management. I went back up to my room and repacked all my clothes, moved them to the front living area of the suite, texted the pictures I took to my family members hoping for a response to see if any of them were awake. No one responded so I then stripped the bed being careful to ensure what I thought were spiders remained inside of the covers, and sat the bed covers outside the room door. Early the next morning my sister called to relay what I discovered was bed bugs. So, after a sleepless night on the sleeper sofa, I went to the front desk and a different associate, Antoinette, immediately changed me to room 317 and apologized profusely. She told me the general manager Cassandra would be in at 2 p.m. And she would have her contact me. Antoinette asked me to email the pictures to an email address and I did as she requested. By 5 p.m, no word from Cassandra so I visited the front desk and asked to speak to her. Cassandra came out casually, listened attentively, but, in my opinion, was not empathetic. She offered to comp me 1 night stay which really felt was not acceptable.

3rd issue: The other rooms were not cleaned well. After finding bed bugs in my room, my family members in the other rooms checked their beds. One found chips and nuts on the mattress pad under the fitted sheets. Another stated their room smelled like mold and like the carpet was wet near the AC unit.

Very disappointed in the hotel's response to the bed bug incident and the staff availability. Outraged at the fact they did not offer a resolution on the room charges since they would not accept the explorer rate and did not inform us at check-in or during our stay. All they kept saying is we are a franchise hotel and do not have to abide by corporate policy. Unbelievable!

Clean spacious rooms with comfortable bed. The property is not new, but both rooms we stayed at were kept well. The price was very competitive and made any issues worth it. Located in a great area in Katy with many things to do, food options, etc.

Stayed 5 days. Rooms were alright, problem was the fire alarm kept going off daily between 10: 00am and 11: 30am. Apparently they were doing tests for the whole 5 days yet that didn’t explain the water which came from the ceiling in the breakfast area on day 1.
Forget staying saturdays, full on parties in several rooms. Couldn’t sleep half the night as I had to listen to music and people stomping above me like they were at a club.
The General manager wasn’t helpful, asked for a discount or at least something (the smallest amount would’ve been fine) but she denied everything and informed me that there’s just nothing she can do or offer.
If you looking for a decent breakfast but a restless night then go for it, the staff (cleaners and reception) are really nice but that’s not why one would book a room.

Bed bugs in this hotel check your sheets.us we had 4 room @ family discount and it wasn't granted the manager had a rude nonchalant attitude.then b4 check out we was price more than 400.00.but wouldn't allow our triple A membership. I'm very pist with Marriott and this SpringHill Suites.service and price was not compensated.

Older hotel. There was a old smell in the room.the mattress was worn out. Everyone was very nice though.

It was a really nice place. Very clean. Great location. Easy access to I-10. The room was spacious. There is a breakfast in the morning but I never wake up early enough for it. Thankfully there is a Dennys in walking distance. They sell a lot of items there so you won't have to go too far.
