SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston The Woodlands reviews
18Mostly got what I expected. Some of the comments on here mentioned a hot tub but I think those were old, and it's since been filled in. Otherwise a fairly standard Springhill with hot breakfast!
We left several items in our room, forgetting to take them with us when we checked out. When we called and notified the staff, they happily offered to mail those to us. Received them today, including a few extra things that we didn't realize we'd left!
Jackie is awesome! Great cocktails and excellent customer service. I’d come here just for the bar.
Location near all amenities. Most within walking distance. Clean rooms. Breakfast options were the same usual items. Could use more variety. Bar was nice! Rooms facing I45 should be cheaper as you hear constant highway noise, makes it hard for sleeping. Would definitely stay here again
Great size rooms and location. The hotel is clean and nice. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is that the bed was horrible. My whole body hurts. I could feel the springs in the mattress. Other than that, I would recommend it.
Although I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times this past week was the best yet! I want to start by thanking Brian the manager for being so accommodating for our stay being extended 2 times, due to the weather we experienced. Totaling 4 days for our most recent stay. Marco and Daniel were at the front desk and they checked us in with ease, and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is conveniently located off the highway and perfect to grab a quick dinner and come back and enjoy a drink at the bar.
We had a delicious pina colada and ice cold beer and cocktails along with friendly service by Jackie.
I wish our stay could be duplicated everywhere we go as much as we travel. By far my favorite and most inviting stay with the cleanest rooms. Walking down the hallways the house keepers fully stripped and sanitized the rooms and we had everything we needed.
Very grateful for the staff here. Not one negative I can think of.
For those upset about $10 parking, this is a general standard everywhere and definitely the cheapest parking.
Im happy to pay it to ensure that I have a parking spot where I stay. Free parking can over crowd and not allow for the actual guests staying there.
Nice place to rest after bad storm left us without electricity. The bathrooms in the rooms are split. One side has toilet and small sink. Other side has shower and vanity. Large rooms with a couch, fridge and microwave would make a longer stay comfortable.
There’s a little grab and go section for snacks and soft drinks.
Full breakfast in the morning, eggs, sausage and 2 waffle makers!
Love the room size, rooms are very clean, pool was warm and clean and I love that they have a cute little splash pad by the pool! This is my favorite hotel to stay at when we come here. Also love that check out is later and the pool is open a little later than most hotels. Only negative is charging $10 a night to park
Great hotel, wonderful staff and excellent bar. The bartender, Jackie is amazing! She is outgoing, remembers us every time and is the reason we keep coming back! Appreciate you! Kim Byrd
PAY $10 a day for parking?
This hotel is by a Walmart and Kohl's. No downtown, crowded limited space, no airport, just woods and a LOUD freeway.
That is CRAZY.
I am a frequent guest of this Springhill Suites. The staff is very friendly and want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Although front desk staff like Marco & Daniel are some of the best in hospitality, even better than some Four Seasons hotels I've visited, Jackie their bar manager creates a community with all the guests. I keep coming back to this hotel because of Jackie, Daniel & Marco.
Nice new facility with a typical suburban surface parking lot, but they charge $10 per night fee for parking there.
My recent stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott was generally hassle-free, with smooth check-in and check-out processes that made my stay quite convenient. However, I was disappointed to discover an unexpected parking fee of $10 per night. Considering the hotel's location outside Houston, I had expected complimentary parking, which left a somewhat negative impression on my overall experience.
The check-in and check-out procedures at the hotel were seamless, and the staff members were courteous and efficient. The room itself was comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The hotel's overall cleanliness and maintenance were commendable, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment.
Unfortunately, my positive experience was diminished by the parking fee. As a guest staying outside a major city like Houston, I had presumed that parking would be complimentary, as it is in many similar hotels in the area. The unexpected charge for parking felt like an unnecessary burden, adding to the overall cost of my stay.
While I appreciate the hotel's efforts in ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience, I believe that providing complimentary parking would have been more aligned with the expectations of guests staying in this location. Clear communication regarding parking charges at the time of booking or during check-in would have allowed me to make an informed decision and avoid any surprises.
In summary, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott offers a convenient and pleasant stay with easy check-in and check-out processes. However, the unexpected parking fee of $10 per night left me with a somewhat mixed impression. I recommend that the hotel considers revising their parking policy or provides clearer communication regarding parking charges to enhance guest satisfaction.
Went to Texas to visit our grandkids and daughter and son in law, stayed there great service clean rooms good breakfast
Jackie Brown is the best! Not only is she a great bartender, she helped us with our reservations, made sure we received our points, helped us with our late check out and more! SHE IS THE BEST!
Great value! We enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was pretty good. Some of the sausages were way too salty. And the $10/day parking charge seemed like an odd markup. But overall a great experience
Excellent hotel in a great location and amazing staff. We have stayed here multiple times while building a house. The beds are super comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and they also have a bar for evening drinks. Their bartender, Jackie, is amazing - both in knowledge of drinks and personality. Pricing is very competitive for compatible hotels. We carry lifetime Marriott status so we’ve stayed in our fair share of Marriotts and this is by far one of our favorites!
Rooms are great - every bed we’ve stayed in was super comfortable.
Just took a trip to get away with my sister and niece and the overall stay was very nice. I slept like a baby.
