Everyone was very friendly. I was there for an event but could see and hear Mass. Beautiful service and great message.

Hello,

I went to this church as a child. In the early 2000s, this church made students 6-10 years old watch the rated R movie. The passion of Christ. Let me tell you, I grew up to hate this church for this reason. I went to Saint Andrew's for years, let me tell you I hated it.

I had nightmares for years! This movie is the biggest reason why I don't believe in any higher power anymore. Do not send your kids here! Some of the teachers will show these kids violent movies. I don't care if it was for religious reasons, or parents could sign off on it. It's messed up and shame on all of you. Church is supposed to make you feel safe. Maybe you thought children would forget. No, I never forgot, I am a grown adult now, and I wish I could forget.

I am not sure if they still do this, but even back then, they shouldn't have scarred children like this. (All kids who wanted to eat communion had to watch that movie.) I was 6! I cried so much and begged the teachers to skip the bloody scenes. Father Christopher, if you are reading this, this happened when you were here!

Do your own research. Maybe they have changed, but I don't wouldn't count on it. Don't send your kids to CCE here.

Off topic, the festivities they have year around are lovely. It's a great way to have some fun with your kids. I remember volunteering there. It's fun. That's all the nice things I have to say.
