St. Luke’s Health - Memorial Hospital - San Augustine, TX reviews
11Got checked into hospital very fast and had lab work, i was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
Everyone was very professional and very nice
All procedures went smoothly
Great staff
Everyone was great. The whole process from start to finish was top notch. Am thankful to each person involved in my procedure.
I didn't even know that lil-oh San Aug had an emergency room, until I needed one. I am from the Beaumont area, and if it weren't for the drive, I would choose St. Luke's over any place I have ever been to. Dr McGarry is one of a kind. He treated me like a family member that he had known and loved his entire life. The staff, nurses, and everyone else there, stood behind him 100%. It's never a good thing to be in a place like this, but they made it as likeable as possible and I appreciate it.
Wonderfully personal care. Would never get this in big city hospital. Very sorry that the in-patient unit was shut down. Saved my life 2 times in the last 2 years. However, very grateful that the hospital stays open for emergencies, imaging, and related.
I took my husband to the emergency room in San Augustine, Texas today, because he suddenly became ill. The hospital has a large, free, clean, well-lit parking lot. The building is clean, and the staff is professional. The restroom is clean and stocked.
Note: This is a very small hospital, and there may not always be a doctor in the emergency room 24/7.
I go in for numbness and tingling in my hand and all they do for I am x-ray and refer me to a neurologist to see if I need and mri. Here it is almost two weeks later and it has just gotten worst. Ready to get some relief I am going to have to drive over 2 hours away to a hospital that will do the test I need to find out what is going on.
My girlfriend went into the ER and they released her 3hrs later saying nothing was wrong. I took her to Memorial in Nacogdoches about 18hrs later and within an hour they found gangrene and rushed her into emergency surgery. She literally could have died. I wouldn't trust this place to even put a Band-Aid on correctly.
Great service. Very kind employees although it would be a little quicker if the front employees would stop chatting with each other so much.
Friendly and professional staff! Wait times were minimal. Organization and attention to detail were not lacking in this small town hospital.
This trip to Chi St Luke’s San Augustine like most other’s was infuriating. I was the only person in the place, I was right on time, but spent 30 minutes filling out paperwork (the same forms every time) and then they STILL made me wait 45 mins.
The place was empty so why wasn’t the paperwork done before I got there? Why didn’t the tech prep the blood draw while I signed the paperwork? I hear people say “you only get good healthcare if you have good insurance” but I am triple insured and have great insurance. So, why is it every time I go to Chi Saint Luke’s San Augustine the employees act like they are doing me a big favor? I wonder if they all acted that way when begging for their job?
